Sick of MovieBob Bashing Call of Duty?

In this community? Probably more than almost every other sample group.

The only other community who I think cares about gaming as a medium enough and is weird enough to buy CoD for the single player would be the weirdos over at Destructiod.
I went there to check it out and see some more from Jim Stirling and I didn't fit in. No one is uptight enough.

That's likely the clouds. On topic ehh whatever I don't much care. There are some games that are subjectively bad, but I don't think COD is a bad game just not what I like. And if people want to cry about how it somehow makes games lesser as a whole ok whatever but I don't think they are right.

I'm sick of pretty much this entire site bashing on Call of Duty. Some people just like feeling that their own personal taste is the "right one" and other people's are "wrong", and therefore they can be judgemental. It's the way of the internet. I don't care. I stopped listening to Moviebob's hipster rants a long time ago. I have more fun playing the games than I'm sure he does bashing them.

You are the one who views his stuff and if you don't like it, there's an awesome option, just don't watch that or ignore what he says.

I do wish people would stop saying that. You do know that people only use the the phrase "Am I the only one...?" because it often FEELS like they're the only one and thus they just want some reassurance that there are others who share their opinion. Being a dickhead and nitpicking their choice of words certainly doesn't help!

That's what I thought...

Never played the mutiplayer in a New CoD game. Until recently the campaign as been the sole reason I play. And that pretty much ended after MW2 when the entire thing went way over the top and the plot holes started overwhelming the storyline and the slick presentation wasn't enough to hide the fact the content was starting to lack somewhat.

And adding zombies does nothing to help this.

Also, really never have been able to get into mutiplayer. Where everyone else seems to see hours of shooty fun, I see racist ADD 13 year old twats as characters acting out scenarios without anything resembling context or content. And if I just want to shoot lots of things without any sense of context or reason other then to shoot things, I'll go play one of the Serious Sam or PainKiller games again.

I wonder how long ppl are gonna keep buying this shit. Sooner or later even the casuals even have to get sick of it, no ? I guess they'll always be fresh 10 year olds ready to fill in and keep the tradition going. Maybe more hardcore RPGs like Skyrim and ME will start pulling them away.
