Silicon Knights: what are they doing?

Silicon Knights best known as the creators of Eternal Darkness:Sanity's Requiem have not released a single game since the horrible Too Human in August 2008. Nor do they seem to have discussed anything new on the horizon with anyone. what they heck are the up to?

I think they used to have some really good programmers but maybe they have all moved on or are being kept from actually coming up with original ideas.

Perhaps a stipulation in a publishing contract is that they must now sit around and twiddle their thumbs until an ideal opportunity arises?
Or...perhaps they've all committed suicide after the bad reviews Too Human got.

Hmm I guess either its super secret what they are doing or they all hate their jobs.

Well, if they still plan on focusing on Too Human, then they're probably working on the second game. Considering it's meant to be a trilogy and all.

As far as I know, they're currently working on a horror game which might be called 'The Crucible' or 'The Box', and they'll almost certainly be working on Too Human 2 (it was meant to be a trilogy after all, and the ending to Too Human clearly left room for at least one sequel)

poor silicon knights. Eternal Darkness was one of the best games I think I've ever played... but too human should have been renamed too long because it took YEARS for that thing to come out. I realize it was originally scheduled for a gamecube release, but then they got in a fight with nintendo or something, I don't really know.

Most likely they're taking more time to make Too Human 2 from scratch. After the disaster the Too Human being such a flop they'd be smart to make the second have a entirely new ... everything. I'm probably out of line considering I never played the game, but I mostly avoided it because every review I read, watch, or ate, just ripped it to shreds.

Too Human was also meant to be good, and probably to sell copies. So, what do all three of those things have in common?

They're most likely designing new games, spitballing ideas around, making deals with publishers, etc.
