Your post doesn't make any sense? I didn't introduce a lock anywhere, I just warned you to lock or board up the door before the drone makes it through.

Robert gets into a defensive crouch on the right side of the door.
"I see it two ways, we disable it quickly, or we rush in behind it to the service room to see if their isn't a remote way to shut it down."

Mike didn't touch his crossbow instead he sat down on the ground and looked around the room trying to think of a way to get them not dead (means you tell me whats in the room)

but humor aside if we're back to where we started where did the door even come from? there was no mentioning of it in the original scrip joanne or jeanne or who ever didnt open a door and didnt slam one shut behind her either

Robert looks over at the group of guys, "Well, if we book it i feel sorry for every one that is weighted down." He looks down the hall. "If we run it's either now or never"
The door snaps in half, folding over the drone. The drone is a short, fairly well-armored robot, that does not appear to have any loose wires and moves with treads. While its intelligent vision eye and assualt rifle are covered by the door, this does not seem to impede its reckless hunting of Joanne. The drone shoots her leg once, before it is mysteriously shut down. Her leg starts bleeding terribly even though some of the impact was absorbed by the door.
"I'm fine, but thank you," she says casually, pulling the bullet from her leg and watching it regenerate.
Erics eyes watered at the sight of the drones weapon.
"Guys? Dibs."
He ran up, attempting to pry the assault rifle from the drones fingers.

The assualt rifle is still in working order but does not have a traditional trigger, it was meant to be electronically triggered. Only someone with a career that involves electronics would know where to sever the rifle from the rest of the bot and how you would fire the rifle once you did so.
