Dave slowly crept towards the deer, keeping as quiet as he could. He then took a nearby fallen branch and holds it up, trying to keep still. He watches the deer, hoping to take the bait. Behind his back, he motions with his hands for the group to get ready.
The deer oddly does not seem to pay any attention to the strange human's movements. You soon realize that the deer is not actually eating any grass, but is merely arching its neck down and moving its mouth.
"Um...okay." Dave muttered, slowly getting up. He then crept towards the deer, the branch held out and his crowbar raised.
"Um...." Dave muttered, unsure what to do. His gurgling stomach reminded him of what he needed, and he brought his crowbar smashing down onto the deer, aiming for the small area on the back of the head that held the cerebellum.
You are suprised to hear the sound of metal banging against metal. All of a sudden, 3 people in uniform pop up from behind trees. You see three guns aimed at your head. "Don't move, you were attempting to hunt an endangered species!" one of them yells. "We're with the Hunting Regulations Comitee, and you, sir, have hell to pay," another one says gently and sarcastically.
"Whoa! Hey! Easy now!" Dave cried, dropping his crowbar. "We're just looking for some food, mates. I'm glad to see some civilization, because we have a guy who really needs to see some medical attention."
"Yeah, you're going to get some medical attention...in...,"he was interrupted by a high-caliber bullet blowing his and his mates' brains out. The bullets hit at exactly the same time as far as you can tell. Three masked figures emerge from the shadows. "Looks like a new record," one says, examining the bodies. The other two casually point their sniper rifles at the group. "Don't mean to startle you guys, but who the hell are you?" one of the two says.
"Um...a lost and confused group of men trying to survive in an increasingly bizarre environment?" Dave said, hands still up. "Several who need medical attention."
"Alright, but we only have some first-aid kits," one of the men explained while they lowered and holstered their rifles. The one that was not holding a rifle unholstered a sledgehammer and bashed the robotic deer's skull in. "Ok, let's go," he said, motioning for the group to head farther into the forest.
The three men lead the group farther into the forest. They stop at a leafy patch on the ground, and bend over to open it, revealing a secret room. You climb about 15 feet down a ladder and then arrive at the makeshift headquarters. "This is where stuff gets done!" the one with the sledgehammer exclaims proudly. "My name is Jake by the way, and my buds are Garret and Jonas."
The headquarters is a fairly large and empty room. It is extremely well organized, and the only item of interest that is in plain view is a computer console that looks quite advanced.

"Wow, nice set up." Dave said, looking around with admiration.
"Um...what is it exactly that you do?"

"We're here to destroy the regulation imposed on this world," Garret said awkwardly
