Simply baffling dialogue.

Resident evil. From the moment you start playing. All of it is solid gold.

Best voice acting ever.
Could someone explain to me why the line "Master of unlocking" is mentioned so much? I get it, with Jill it should have been "Mistress of unlocking" but compaired to some of the other gem's in those games why does that one stand out alot?

I'm not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, just wondering why that one line seem's to stick out alot (to me anyways). But yeah, I'm casting my vote for the Resident Evil series, namely the first game back on the first Playstation.

"Jill Sandwich" and "Whoaaa, this room is dangerous!" (even though there wasn't a damn monster ever in said room) stand out for me the most.

Pretty much all the dialogue in Zone Of the Enders 2 was a bit stunted and wierd.

Really fun game but a pretty bad translation effort.

To be fair, the game really was a lot of fun. I still hope Kojima will make a third game. Though, it might be hard since Anubis was destroyed, and nothing else really compares to Jehuty. I mean what could be the new BIG BAD?
As i said, massively fun games. But the translation was terrible. Like a really bad fansub.

I think Kojima would probably do one of those "300 years later" schticks for the third one. Where the main character has to find a massively upgraded Jehuty in order to fight off an alien invasion or something...

I've been watching Gunbuster and Diebuster too much again, haven't I?

Using this movie in threads like this always feels unfair, but dammit, I can't figure out a single bit of natural conversation in this scene.
Nothing in The Room feels natural.
'Oh Hai'

OT: The later dialogue in Lost Planet: Extreme condition.
Why and how has this happened? It makes no sense!

Giant guardian lion thing: The power it contains is fatal to humans. Go away. Before it's too late.
Ayumi: Yeah right(as she rolls her eyes)

Such a masterful display of communicational eloquence.
Even better -- she then touches it, and the Light Guardian says he will have to kill her. Which he doesn't do.

I will never stop defending this one:

Greatest in-game conversations I've ever followed in CoD 4, between a girl who called herself Alice and a guy who's name I can't remeber, so I'm calling him Bob.
[Alice knifes Bob]
Bob: What was that?
Alice: A knife. I just owned you.
Bob: Knife is a one-hit-kill, it's a fag weapon.
Alice: You'd pay to see me gay.
Bob: ''Fag'' is not the same as ''gay''.
Alice: Yes it is.
Bob: Yes, well... Shut up, you know what I mean!

There is this one gem from Final Fantasy X-2 that always made my eye twitch even when I was a stupid kid.

Shinra: "Whenever Rikku and Brother agree, bad stuff happens."
Yuna: "That can't be good."

No shit, Yuna.

That was the bet online exchange in the history of online exchanges. It really just seems to sum up perfectly what people are like in those situations.

No, that's equally bad. Without knowing Japanese, I would guess that "Mistress of unlocking" is a too-literal translation of the original script, matching the original words instead of what an English speaker would say in that situation.

Probably "I found some lockpicks. Jill, you'd better take them -- you're good with locks."
