There was just always something about Freddie Mercury and his live performances (which I had to listen to on audio, or watch a video of lol) that drew me in, if that counts. He just had this raw power, and emotion was plentiful.
Then again, I don't really like 'live' performances for the same reason I don't always like listening to comedy shows. Because women think yelling, "Woo!" every five minutes especially to something they only think is a reference to them is super fun, and it makes me want to stab myself in the face. Every once in awhile is alright, but every time the person says something and I hear a "WOO!" - is just too much.
