I wake up on a cot in the medical tent with my arm bandaged. "Doctor," I call out to the man tending to the patients. "Yes sir?". "Who brought me here?" "Lord Ahriman sir." "Tell him I give my thanks." "Yes sir.". With that I fall back on my pillow and start looking meaningfully at my wound.

"You sure are an uppity little youngling." He turned once more to COrruptus. "I thought you trained your apprentices better than that? If he isn't careful, he may find himself impaled on his own lightsaber."

"I suppose, your Acolytes probably COULD use a little training in the mindless slaughter arts. Shall I teach, or would you prefer your apprentice did so?"

Corruptus watched the exchange between his friend and his apprentice with a cold, stony look on his face.

"Malus..."

Malus turned to face him, and Corruptus gave him a nod, which he knew Malus understood as his way of saying 'it's alright. You're doing well.' He focused his attention on Volitus next.

"No. Malus is far too busy with his own training. I will let you take care of the acolytes. But watch out for my new star youngling-" Corruptus cracked a wicked smile. "He's quite the firecracker. But that is later. For now, come. Let us finish off the remaining rabble and establish our hold on all of Dantooine."

At Corruptus' gesture, Malus left the room first, heading up the attack as he loved to do. As they walked out together, Corruptus addressed Volitus.

"He is just about as hot headed as they come. And-" he gave Volitus a pointed look, "as skilled. My telling you you must go through him to get to me wasn't just for information's sake. It was a warning. He is good."

"As I said, I have no intention of seeking control again. I have found wonderful new joys in life, ones more suited to my strategic and Tactically inclined sides. Also, have you ever flown a starfighter in a giant furball? Nothing between you and the cold void of space but a little skill and a lot of luck? There is no thrill greater, this side of reincarnation..."

He smiled to himself. "If your apprentice doesn't burn himself out in short order, he may not be such a bad choice to take over the Sith Order. IF he lives that long. You have seen for yourself how the stars that burn hottest often burn out soonest."

The two Dark Lords arrived outside the temple as Darth Volitus finished his declaration.

"Now where are these acolytes, I am eager to teach them about the deaths of the innocent, and how so few are truly innocent in a war such as this..."

Zariel turned to his troopers. He was more or less done here, and now the enemy was down in numbers compared to the troopers, his weapon was becoming unsuitable. It was time to make a preparation for a future assault.

Though he was sure that though on the field of battle the odds were probably high in the favor of the Sith, their odds of recurring victories against enemy fleets were far lower. He therefore sought every possible advantage.

"This is an order. Execute strategy 54 immediately. Preferably use young ones, as they are seen as more valuable in my experience." He raised his left hand and snapped his fingers. The troopers turned and marched away.

the acolytes are still back at the Dantooine headquarters, the town we took upon arrival.

I was letting everybody know, just in case anybody else had their facts confused.

Darth Volitus strode calmly back into the Jedi Academy and sought out the hiding places of all of the students there. One by one he lured them out where he could subdue them, and placed them, still secured, in his personal shuttle. When he had all twenty nine students secured, he flew the shuttle back to the headquarters. There, he made the Acolytes carry the bound and gagged Jedi trainees into the commons area of the Headquarters and take turns practicing torturing. Then he systematically explained why the death of innocents was a necessity more often than not in battle.

"You see, we learned under Emperor Palpatine that the populace will turn on you, whether or not you are helping improve their lives over the long run. All they care about is the here and now, and if you pacify them NOW, they will remember that fear LATER."

"But isn't that just terrorism writ large?" One acolyte had the sense to ask.

"Yes, but if we inflict that terror on our enemies, and then maintain the strength to back up any further threats, it will no longer be necessary to inflict further pain on other members of the populace. Watch how the Jedi Younglings behave when we begin torturing them. It will all become clear then."

And sure enough, as the Acolytes began punishing the Jedi for their insulting disregard for Sith Teachings, the Acolytes began to enjoy the lesson, both teaching and learning. The violence continued well into the night, with the Acolytes finally expending themselves on the their opponents in a brutal and gory fashion.

"Remember this lesson always. A Sith is feared, not held in awe or as an inspiration. Sith are not worshiped for their fighting ability, but held up as an example of why war should be avoided at all costs. A Sith makes not friends, but battlefield allies that are in turn discarded of as soon as possible. Friendships can be exploited, and are in turn a weakness. I am not saying you shouldn't trust one another, quite the opposite. On the field of battle, only a Sith may trust another Sith, and even then, only as long as your eyes are open."

"There are no innocents in war, only those that do not openly show their allegiance. Be wary most of all of these people, for their allegiance is NEVER to you. Remember the brutality you visited on your Jedi Opponents this night, for you shall be called on to do far worse than this at many points in this campaign, and for the rest of your life. Take pleasure in it, and no one can stop you, not even Lord Corruptus."

Joshua walked into the Conclave seeing the Master Corruptus and his apprentice. There was also a new being, though it must have been a friend of Corruptus as there were no hostilities between the two. Joshua walked up to them, his helm still spattered with the blood of his enemies. He removed his helmet feeling a cool breeze rise over him as the sweat dried off his face. It was good to finally have that thing off.

Corruptus turned to face him, and as clockwork so did the visitor and the Dark Lord's apprentice. Joshua was slightly unnerved; he hated being around so many Sith as they were so unpredictable, great more Sith, he thought to himself, but instead he spoke with respect," My Lord I come bearing a gift for you."

He dropped to his knee, and raised the lightsaber above his head, submitting himself to whatever the Lord wanted, "It is from the body of a fallen foe, one of the few I faced that had graduated to the lightsaber, he must have been a lesser being of the Council, only just graduated."
Fucking ninja'd please assume this happened before the new being went wandering off

Corruptus looked down and listened. He listened to the spoken word and the thought. He dismissed the thought, most became nervous when they found themselves surrounded by Sith Lords. He reached down and took the blade from his servant's grip. He activated the blade, and slowly turned it in his hands.

"Very good, Joshua. It is a fine blade. This Jedi was very skilled in the art of crafting a lightsaber. And you did very well, bringing down a full Knight."

As he spoke and slowly twirled and spun the blade, it's brilliant blue color seemed to gradually dim and darken, as if tainted by a dark stain of evil. Soon it resembled the dark blue of Corruptus' eyes.

"Yes... Very good... Perhaps I'll catch up on my dual blade fighting, spar with you, Malus. It's been a while since I used more than one... You have done well, Jochusa. You are dismissed. Oh, and Joshua."

He stopped Joshua, seeing the disappointed, angry look on his face.

"Do not think you achievements will go unrewarded. Lord Corruptus is gracious and generous to those who serve him well. And you have served me well. But for now, we still have a handful of Jedi to destroy. Now, go."

------------------------------------------------------

Corruptus silently approached Volitus later on.

"That was a good speech."

He looked at his friend with a "come on, now" look.

"You know at least some of them are smart enough to recognize some of your words as false truths."

Volitus looked back with a similar face.

"Come, now old friend," Corruptus continued. "You know that I am building a different kind of Order here, one where we can be friends, and truly trust each other's loyalties. Already have I taught masses of Dark Jedi and Troopers that the Sith are brothers and that logically, if you want what's good for you, you want what's good for the whole Order. So you always are loyal and never betray your Sith brother - until provoked or given a good opportunity, of course."

Jedamethis wandered in, as always, too late.

So he set to looting the corpses for salvageable parts.

Joshua stiffened, "He knows what I am thinking. "Yes my Lord," he said before drawing his blasted and moving back into the complex.

so I'm gonna go ahead and get it straightened out and move on with the game.

The next morning, Corruptus walked out into the courtyard of his new, permanent, planetwide headquarters. He breathed deeply of the cool air, enjoying the grey, overcast day.

for now, just do whatever, mill about, relax, until I decide how to move on. I'm going to post about forcing the the people to bow to me and accept Sith rule, I just haven't decided how to lead up to that.

I am sitting on my bed in my casual clothing and unwrapping the bandage on my arm. "Damn, I shouldn't have held back." I take a syringe filed with a strange liquid out of my locker. I begin to inject it into my arm. I quickly look up at the door that suddenly began to open and my heart skips a beat.

OOC: READ THIS ANNOUNCEMENT!!! I'm going to let you guys decide who or what is coming into my room! You can choose anything. It could be one of you, or an NPC, or an assassin, or a cleaning droid, ect. The first reply to this is what I'll go with so if you're interested you'd better hurry!

The young boy who had caught Lord Corruptus' attention with his aggression walked in.

"What is that?"

He asked the question, talking about the syringe, not with a childlike, inquisitive voice, but with a cold voice, more mature than his pre-pubescent face.

A fleeing jedi bursts into the room and sees Rez.
Seconds too late...

Jedamethis hears the cold voice and decides to stay out of sight and listen carefully

I stare at him blankly for a moment. "Why are you here!?"

EDIT: now you can make his response.
