Very soon after, the fleet made the jump to Hyperspace, leaving behind a fairly powerful force to keep and defend Dantooine. After a brief trip through the alternate dimension, the exited Hyperspace and looked upon Naboo.

It was a beautiful planet, all bright blue ocean and lush green landmasses, with only small polar caps. The Sith Lord smiled to himself as the landing craft descended on a planet that had no orbital defenses.

Time for some corruption.

Less than a day after the recieving the transmission from Ergeron, Corruptus stood on Naboo's surface and his black lightsaber burned through the flesh of a beautiful female Twi-lek Jedi.

I decided to simplify this one. The transmission from Ergeron included the coordinates of the Naboo Jedi Temple, allowing us to attack them directly. Kill the Jedi! Take this world! Very powerful Jedi here, this is a step or two up from Dantooine, and your posts should reflect the increased difficulty in fighting and killing the enemies on this planet.

Darth Volitus strapped himself into the command couch of his Lambda shuttle and checked to see that the squad of troopers in his cargo hold had strapped in. When they were secured, he requested permission and left the hangar, descending in among the hundreds of drop ships towards the Jedi temple.

"Remember, take no prisoners and leave no one alive. If I get hold of them they will suffer more than if you kill them, so consider it a mercy killing, rather than murder. I will NOT be gentle when I come across them." Pep talk complete, Darth Volitus concentrated on flying down through the barrage of incoming Anti-fighter Artillery. Turning inward with the force, Volitus concentrated on avoiding the blasts and returning fire when he could. One by one he took out the laser turrets, but not fast enough. over twenty landing craft fell from the sky in uncontrolled descents. None of the crews survived, and few of the Stormtroopers walked away from the wreckage.

Darth Volitus settled his shuttle to the moist Naboo soil, extending the ramp for the soldiers to exit his ship before screaming up into the air once more on his enhanced engines and charging off to do battle with the enemy fighters that came screaming in from the North.

"Gold leader to all fighters, I have enemy bogies approaching from 073, form up on me, slave your missiles to my targeting data, and launch on my order."

When Malus' feet hit the dirt he began to sprint for the Jedi lines, blasters fried the air as they were deflected by green and blue sabers. He charged head long into a collection of Jedi, his red blades coming into play. He was a whirl wind of motion as he parried and deflected the Jedi's blades, a constant blur of red light kept up a perfect defense, but did not allow him to strike. As more troops landed, more and more blaster fire joined the melee, helping to distract the jedi who had to worry about Malus' fury, and the deadly blasters.

As the first sabers switched to block the fire, Malus made his move plunging his glowing red blade through a humans chest, and quickly tore it out to continue the defensive dance. The Jedi learned quick, the group broke into two elements, one that became a phalanx of lasers, and the other that focused their attack on the young sith.

He began to very his attacks, adding kicks and feint knees in between strikes from his saber. He had to battle six fully trained jedi and was hard pressed to keep his defense up. Focusing his energy to his core, he used his force repulse to rock them on their heals before swiftly attacking and killing one jedi as he dismembered two others. The jedis quickly refocused their attack and rocked him back onto his heels.

Ahriman lead his battalion forth from the shuttle and they headed towards the laser batteries, determined to weaken the Jedi. The men carried demolition charges which would obliterate the temple's defences. Ahriman's task was to get them there, a task the was proving difficult. Taking causalities all the way, the squad made its way to the outer defences. There had merely been soldiers so far, now there were Jedi masters, two of them. Ahriman had little hope of success but he might succeed in distracting them.

By drawing his blue lightsabre Ahriman made himself a target, knowing the hatred the Jedi had for the Sith despite espousing that they never felt it. He had once suffered the same affliction. He briefly considered how he once was before refocusing on the advancing Jedi. He made a small hand gesture for his men to continue without him, one that would be hopefully unnoticed by his attackers.

In the face of the two Jedi Ahriman leapt, somersaulting over their heads to land gracefully behind them. Not wanting to get close he began flinging debris from around the battle field at them, clumsily thrown objects which they easily dodged. They once again went for Ahriman who parried and retreated, dodging their blows whilst giving ground, leading them further and further away from their station with the illusion of advantage.

Hard pressed to maintain his defences, Ahriman finally fell onto the ground and the two Jedi surrounded him. "Any last words Sith?" asked one of the Jedi, the better fighter of the two. Before Ahriman could speak there was a great explosion from the laser tower, the blast wave knocking those who were standing down. Ahriman quickly rolled on top of the Jedi, seizing his lightsabre before plunging it through the Jedi's neck. The other one had barely risen to his feet before Ahriman was on him, taking off his head with a single sweep.

Trembling slightly at his near defeat, Ahriman withdrew his blade and looked around for his squadron. One tower down, many more to go.

Ergeron entered the courtyard, quickly scanning the field of battle. The Jedis here were skilled with the blade, but they wasn't what he was looking for. He had ambitions for something bigger.

He made sure the jedis guarding the temple entrance was preoccupied killing soldiers, or fighting other sith, before he entered the temple unnoticed. While making his way through tight corridors he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around, only to see a man in a Jedi Knight's robe standing there, with his clear blue lightsabre drawn.

"You chose the wrong side today, assassin. You can't win. Give up."

This was the battle Ergeron had been waiting for.
He didn't waste time talking, but quickly raised his flamethrower and unleashed its flames in the Knight's direction.

The Jedi jumped back to avoid the flames, but not before his coat caught fire.
He threw his burning coat to the ground, but before he could catch his breath he was bombarded with a volley of laserblasts, that he deflected with difficulty.

Before Ergeron could finish the Jedi off with another wave of blasts he felt a much too familiar feeling of an invisible force throwing him backwards. This was not the first time he had been force-pushed. He focused on landing correctly, and he twisted around in the air to finally land with a somersault. He got up, but it was too late, the jedi was already charging him, with his weapon ready to strike. Ergeron focused all of his senses, and sidestepped just as the lighsabre cut through the air. He then kicked the surprised jedi in the back of the knee, causing him to fall to the ground. Ergeron took no risks, he sprayed the downed Jedi with laserblasts.

Ergeron could feel the adrenaline pumping in his veins. His senses were sharpened. He saw beauty in all things, the air, the walls, and even the dead jedi, lying face down on the floor with blastermarks on his back. Especially that.
This was the moment he had been born for.

He crouched at the corpse of his enemy, and took his lightsabre as a trophy.
'A worthy addition to my collection, indeed..' he said to himself.

Corruptus employed a power he rather liked, a sort of combination of Grasp and Choke. He called it Constrict. After parrying a series of rapid blows from a moderately skilled swordsman and kicking him in the stomach, he gripped the man in the Force. He rose, unable to breathe, gasps of pain escaping his throat in tiny little squeaks, the sound of bones breaking coud be heard as every inch of his body was squeezed. Corruptus was literally crushing the man in the Force.

The Jedi were intelligent, however, wise in battle. Another Jedi charged him from the side, taking advantage of the fact that he was busy. Lightning exploded from Corruptus' left hand, whcih the Jedi successfuly blocked with his lightsaber. The effect was amazing, the lighning was too much for the blade to absorb and it arced out wide in an beautiful blue display. Through the Force, Corruptus felt the man he was constricting die, and he let him fall to the ground. With his right hand, Corruptus sent his black lightsaber at the Jedi, who surprisingly blocked that as well.

But Corruptus was far from being out of tricks. As his lightsaber came back to his hand, he sent through it a Force Push. The Jedi's defenses were weak and so the blast sent him stumbling backward a few steps before he fell. Corruptus was on him in an instant, hacking savagely down at the prone form of the Master.

Every blow was blocked but Corruptus' incredible strength was now being fueled by adrenaline, rage and the Force. Even though the Jedi met every strike of Corruptus' blade with his own, the blows were so powerful that they pushed both lightsabers into his flesh, burning him. Soon, the pain was too much, and the Jedi's limbs ached too much from blocking the savagely forceful attacks. His movements slowed and Corruptus got in an attack, a hack that met his torso diagonally. He brought the blade around in an arc, twisted it above his head so it was pointing directly at the Jedi, and stabbed it through his face.

I stay behind from the battle and watch from the bird eye view holo table. "Ah Naboo, where my legacy began." My men close in on a group of jedi. "Move in on their left flank." I command. "Sir we're getting cut to pieces!" "Squad A, hold position behind the entrance to the court yard. Squad B and C, move up through the structure to the west and shoot at them from the balconies. Squad D, if A can't hold them off then you back them up. Squad E, prepare to make contact with Darth Corruptus." "Sir, Squad A was attacked by armed citizens!" "D squad move in." I rub my temples with my index fingers in a sing of frustration. "Commander Tereth," says Greg. "shouldn't you strengthen the defenses on the south entrance to the courtyard?" "No, my troops are already stretched. I'm waiting for the bounty hunter and Ahriman to assist with the south." "Isn't that risky?" Greg replies. "Not as long as the sith keep the rebels off of my men. You learn quickly boy." I tell him this and give him a smile of approval.

"All units, FIRE!" The Salvo of missiles reached out towards the enemy lines, the guidance systems of the Naboo units having less than half the range of the Imperial units, thanks to the Command Shuttle. Of 24 missiles launched, 11 found targets, of those 11, 2 missiles vectored onto the same target. The second salvo was fired simultaneous with the Naboo first salvo, and was nearly even in numbers. 12 missiles on either side, 6 more Naboo fell, as did 4 TIE Defenders.

And then the two sides were on each other in a wild furball, swirling and turning, ascending and diving, twisting and turning. Fighters fell from the sky in ones and twos, here a defender, there an Interceptor, followed quickly by two Naboo starfighters. And then a third. And through it all, Darth Volitus jinked and juked the shuttle, trying his best to keep the enemies from attacking him, keeping the whole situation just barely under control. But even his skill was no match for the fact that he was flying an oversized shuttle, and that for all it's power as a Command and Control craft, it was still not meant for dogfighting.

An enemy fighter grazed the right wing, causing it to separate from the shuttle's fuselage. The shuttle fell from the sky in an uncontrollable spin, and Darth Volitus tried everything he knew to regain control. When he did, he was a mere 100 meters from the ground, and only managed to lessen the impact, not prevent it. Metal screeched as the other wing was shorn from the hull, and then came the crash itself.

Darth Volitus awoke to the smell of burning metal, never a pleasant sensation. He fled from the shuttle only to find himself deep behind enemy lines.

Ahriman dispatched a soldier with a swept of his blade. The last of the laser towers now stood empty of its defenders, fortunately there had been no Jedi here. As his men began to lay the charges to destroy the building he saw Volitus' shuttle fall behind enemy lines. Ahriman opened his comm link.

"This is Darth Ahriman requesting a transport shuttle with fighter cover on stand by with troops ready to deploy. We may need them to retreat or to secure our position, be ready to move on my call to the crash site of Darth Volitus." Ahriman quickly switched channels.

"Commander Tereth? Darth Volitus has been downed amongst the Jedi, I'll take my squad to his position to help him. Send me any additional troops, we have an opportunity to push our lines forward to where he came down."

Commander Zariel had started the battle well. The Jedi had no idea what his weapon did, so he was able to catch the first Jedi who came up to him off guard, and lock them in position, his three troopers firing and successfully eliminating the man. But the Jedi here were far stronger then Zariel anticipated, and they devastated his usual strategy.

Zariel had just managed to catch one of the Jedi off guard and take them out, before he received a devastating combination attach from a pair of Jedi, and though he avoided without harm, his three remaining troopers were eliminated. He had lost his combination attack, and was no longer at his usual advantage.

The two Jedi now came at him in synchronization, lunging at him with their sabers aimed at his neck. He just managed to duck in time, and twisted, turning himself around as the Jedi flew past him. He aimed at one of them, and unleashed a stream of lightening towards them. Before it made contact however, the other Jedi intercepted the bolt with his lightsaber. Twisting his arm, Zariel moved the stream of lightening towards the intercepting Jedi, and he crumpled to the ground.

Trying to save your friend can be fatal on the battlefield, Zariel thought, as the other Jedi, rage in his eyes, lunged at Zariel. Rage was not the boost it was believed to be though, and now the Jedi was making mistakes. Dodging out of the way, he just kept avoiding the attacks as well as he could, until gradually he managed to position the Jedi at the body of his friend.

Zariel immediately stepped onto the downed Jedi, noting that they had survived his initial stream, and had temporary paralysis from the coil. The Jedi he was fighting didn't notice this though, and made a final furious lunge at Zariel, this time making a severe mistake in what he did. Zariel twisted away from the lunge, and brought his shock coil to the back of the Jedi's neck, forcing him down to the level of the paralyzed Jedi.

The two Jedi looked into one another's eyes. In that moment, they said anything that needed to be said between them. Then Zariel pulled the trigger, and the Jedi sank to the ground. Zariel stepped off the other Jedi, and brought his coil to the man's head. He pulled the trigger. The Jedi closed his eyes, and Zariel turned away.

Ergeron was back on the battlefield, watching it, analyzing. He carefully picked his targets, and then attacked swiftly and powerfully, decimating the enemy numbers one by one.

It didn't take long until he had drawn enough attention for a Jedi to engage him personally.
The Jedi charged at him, with her blue lightsabre drawn. Ergeron opened fire upon the Jedi, who skillfully deflected his blasts without slowing down. Then, just before the Jedi was about to strike, Ergeron fired his flamethrower while leaping out of the Jedi's way.

The pain and confusion from the flames caused the attacking Jedi to miss her strike. Ergeron knew this duel was over, and indeed it wasn't long before the burning Jedi collapsed. Ergeron walked over to the body, as always, to confirm his kill. He picked up the dead one's lightsaber, its surface was partially scorched from the flames.
Another trophy for my collection, he thought.

He then moved on to rejoin the battle.

Mual spun like a whirling dervish, a typhoon of spinning sabers but he would not gain the advantage. He was too eager and had gotten himself in over his head, and he knew no one was going to come and save him. So he made a desperate move and decided to push the attack and try to overwhelm one of the jedi. This failed miserably, and resulted in him taking a shallow cut across his back, one that cauterized immediately and burnt worse that the anything he had felt in his entire life. This caused him to black out, and just become a whirling ball of animal instinct and reaction. His movements, which seemed to double his saber, now surpassed his old speed eight fold. He was able to attack and depend nearly in unison, he even used the enemies sabers to clutter up the jedi's attack allowing time for swift counter attacks. This left the circle of jedi nearly cut in half, with no sign of Malus slowing down.

Paul, as had become a habit had possibly a final word with all his men before a battle.
"Alright lads, this one won't be easy. As you know those Jedi bastards like to show off deflecting shots with their lightsabres. Let them try that while your buddy shoots the flash git in the back. Don?t take them on your own; you will only be dooming yourself, and possibly the rest of your troop. If any of you ties to be hero, I will shoot you myself."
The men laughed at their leader's attempts at light humour, more a courtesy than an actual laugh but the mood still lightened within the troop.
"Then let's get 'em boys!"
Paul's troop moved into the battle taking shots at the distracted Jedi, whenever a single Jedi tried to attack them they split into groups as practiced and dispatched them as quickly as possible. The second the Jedi falls with the automatic response of years training the men automatically fall back into a group.
"Good work men, keep in line, don't get their attention if you aren't going to seriously wound them."
Paul fired a missile at a group of Jedi laughing as the missile was heading toward the Jedi, just for the Jedi to wave it away harmlessly. Paul curses under his breath and draws his shotgun, his troop being slowly diminished by each Jedi that attacks them.

Darth Volitus found himself surrounded by Jedi. He lunged at them suddenly, taking a Master by surprise and running him through with a brilliant, pure white blade. The other seven stood back as he turned on them one at a time, first overpowering their defenses, then battering the Jedi to the ground one by one. As the third Knight fell, the group seemed to gather it's wits and charged the ancient Sith.

He met them head on in a clash of wills that left little doubt he would not be taken alive. He dodged blows and parries, often making one attack intersect another, rather than catching them all himself. Darth Volitus tucked and rolled out of the way of one particularly deft strike, using the hJedi's momentum against him to draw him into striking range of his opposite number. With four down, and only four to go, Volitus seemed to grow faster yet.

Turning on the remaining Jedi with both blades whirling, he screamed out in rage. "Come Jedi, it is time to DIE!"

I broke my laptop, so I am writing on my PS3. Please ignore my double posts...

Darth Volitus tore into the remaining Jedi with a fervent hunger he hadn't felt in years. The Jedi seemed to fall before he had struck them, but in reality his mind was unable to process the events as fast as they happened.

He felt a familiar presence drawing towards himself from outside enemy lines, and turned his whirlwind of destruction towards the oncoming friendly soldiers. When he came out of his battle rage, he found himself surrounded by dozens of bodies hacked into tiny pieces, blood dripping from his cloak from when he had physically assaulted his opponents. He paused to catch his breath, realizing the tactical advantage he had just created.

"Well, I just created an opening, would you care to exploit it?

Ahirman nodded at Vlitus' words. He opened up his comms link. "This is Darth Ahriman, requesting reinforcements. Bring in that shuttle that was placed on standby."

He turned to his depleted troops. "Form a perimeter around the crash, we'll wait here and fight of any Jedi counter attack until we have more men."

Ergeron saw Volitus' fight with the Jedi from a distance. He watched in anticipation as the Sith, though outnumbered, calmly took out the surrounding Jedi, one by one, until finally finally finishing the last one off, with all his fury.

Ergeron felt his respect for the sith, and in particular for Darth Volitus, grow. He knew he wouldn't last long in a fair fight against an opponent like this. Or in any fight, for that matter, he admitted to himself. He heard orders being given out for all available troops to protect the crashsite, by the other, not as intimidating sith. He ignored them. There were more fun things to do. Hunting Jedi for starters.

As of now he would only take direct orders from Corruptus himself.

"E squad, abandon your current position and meet Darth Volitus. All other units pull back to position 4 and spread out. Set up mines in the west passage and make sure that it collapses so that they can't out flank you. This will be our last stand before re-enforcements arrive." I close my eyes and think deeply. "They won't hold" says my new student. "I know. They can probably hold out for 15 minutes." I open my eyes and sigh. "Commander Zariel, this is Commander Tereth requesting backup immediately. My forces won't last very long without assistance." I take out my com link and contact the re-enforcements. "Where are you? our troops are almost depleted!" "We are 25 minutes away Commander." I put away my com link and slump back into a chair. "These jedi are better than I expected Greg. Let that be your next lesson. Never underestimate your enemy." "Yes sir." the boy responded.

Zariel dodged another lunge from a Jedi, waiting for an opening. This Jedi was very tricky, and had presented no openings so far. Although Zariel had so far not received any damage either, this was a lot more work the it should be.

[small]Commander Zariel, this is Commander Tereth requesting backup immediately. My forces wont last long without assistance.[/small]

Zariel heard this in his earpiece, and the Jedi appeared to notice it as well. Apparently presuming this would distract Zariel, he made a sudden swing at him. This was a mistake. Zariel ducked and span, bringing the shock coil to the neck of the Jedi and pulling the trigger before they could block. The Jedi slumped to the ground.

Zariel drew out his mouthpiece. "Commander Tereth, this is Commander Zariel speaking. I am heading over to provide backup, please give your exact location."

Captain Orn leads Lord Corruptus' Royal Squad, newly reinforced with more of Corruptus' hand-picked favorite troops, into the Jedi temple. Once again, the troops use the tactic of concentrating fire on one Jedi at a time. This time, however, it is taking all of the skilled marksmen firing on one Jedi, rather than a group of four or five on one. The Jedi here are just to fast, the Force guiding their sabers to block incoming fire with incredible efficiency. As he helps his men painstakingly gun down one Jedi at a time, he activates a com link to Darth Corruptus.

"My Lord, I see an interesting opportumity. Do wish to preserve this building?."

He says this with a wickedly pleased sound to his voice, letting Corruptus know that he was hoping he'd say no.
