Skryim on 360: Weird Menu Issue

So I've been having a weird issue with Skyrim on Xbox 360 and I'm not sure if it's just me, nor do I know how to search for this problem on google because it's kind of an odd one.

First off, I love Skyrim. Seriously. It's the best Elder Scrolls I've played.

ANYWAYS my issue is simple, but annoying. Right when I bring up my 4-way menu (B button, has items, map, etc) or when I bring up my favorites list (D-pad up or down) the game sort of locks my stick/d-pad so that I can't cycle through my options right away. It's really kind of a pain in the ass. It usually unlocks after a few seconds, but sometimes I have to close the menu and bring it up again. Same issue when I try to rest and adjust the hours I want to rest. This doesn't happen all the time either, but it happens more than not (probably 70% of the time?).

Is this just me? Are other platforms having a similar issue? Is there any hope in sight to have this problem fixed?

I played the 360 version at a friends house, there seems to be a bit of hang time when switching between game and menu. Must just be pushing the 360 as far as it can...or its just not optimised very well...

My PC version has menu issues of it own, although a nifty mod has fixed most of them for me. I still cant drop items unless I have a container or dead body open though =/ Surprisingly though its not much of an issue, just a casual extreme annoyance.

It's just a simple stutter. A frame drop from switching from the open world to the menu. Slightly annoying at it's worst and not what I'd call a game breaker, but I have noticed it as well.

You would be best served searching on Bethesda's website most likely. Though I would imagine that if there was a fix for this, it would have been implemented before launch. It's probably just an unfortunate side effect of playing such a huge feature packed game on 6 yr old hardware.
