Also the votes will take place via email. They have access to vote only the ones that funded with at least one dollar the IndieGogo Campaign.

Yup I was amazed at the final amount hopefully they will get enough to make the final stage and story mode for that last character and fulfill all their stretch goal also 4.5 new characters will hopefully go a fair way to reviving the game a bit the cast was much to small for a game that supported 3 on 3 fights.

I am super hyped for Squiggly though hurry up and finish her so I can go online and get bodied.

Actually, they DO have enough money to start working for a Story and Stage for the 4th character!!!

Damn things just keep getting better and better I wonder where the money came from? I am guessing its the 1st party certificate as in they only have to pay once and can then add the other 4 later for free rather than pay each time but thats complete speculation.

really though what they should do is remove JuJu since it sounds like they are still having trouble with getting permission to use her and add Zombie Pirate Sabine because she looks awesome and needs to be in this game.

If she were in the game I would be exceptionally happy I would have my Skullgirls dream team of Valentine, Squiggly and Sabine I wouldnt care if they didnt work well together I would play the hell out of that team.

Not saying I wont enjoy other characters but after Squiggly Sabine was my favourite still any new characters are good if I dont like the final choice I just wont play them much and stick to Valentine and Squiggly mainly while dabbling with the rest.

My guess without know a lot the money from the making TF2 "hat". At first it was availiable to be created, but then something happened and Valve denided this item for the game.
For that reason they have some extra cash to spare for the 5th character's story and stage. Lucky us!! ^^

Actually about the character, there a LOT more characters that we don't even announced yet they are official. I don't know they have the "hidden" characters for the second game, but some of them look very interesting.

If you think that Mike Z already said he REALLY LOVE to have Isaac in the game, I am not surprised.
Sadly my first choice to be in the game is gone......Taliesin......it seems he isn't so popular after all.....f*ck!

At least My other 3 choices are still in the game.Annie,Eliza and Beowulf.

250k for such simplistic characters is ridiculous. Even 'hand drawn'. With a decent small team even such a character could be rounded up in 1-2 weeks tops. Concept is already there, game engine is already there. So we're talking about implementation into an existing game, with a framework already optimized for these characters and actual drawing of frames. This does not cost 250k in resources or staff considering the materials already existing.
