Art direction looks nice, but there's still the obvious sex appeal to some of the characters. I wonder how many women actually worked on this game....

A woman is the one who worked on the characters, I guess she wanted the flash

In my opinion it still is rather lazy design compared to actually tuning the fighting engine and testing each match up to ensure that it simply is impossible to perform an infinite combo.

And the balancing life and damage according to team size goes back to the original Capcom vs. SNK over a decade ago.

Also the soundtrack composer is Michiru Yamane.

The same from Castelvania: Symphony of the Night.

I'm a big fan of fighting games.

Game wise it looks good. Fast gameplay with a decent set of "weird" moves, enough to keep me entertained.

However...

It's just a bit *too* cartoony for my tastes.
