I do get the fact that the main quest is not the focus of a game like Skyrim. Still, finishing it was anticlimactic, unless I am doing something wrong... After I killed Alduin, two dragons spoke to me and that was that. I tried visiting the people I had met through the main quest, but none of them would even acknowledge that I killed Alduin and prevented the end of the world by doing it. This is just WEIRD. Unless it is some bug I am experiencing, I have to say that this leaves a lot to be desired... Yes, I know that I can do the side quests, etc, but I find it annoying that not one character will even mention Alduin anymore, I just get the old dialogues. It is like my main character was dreaming the whole thing.
On another note, can the war be solved if you join one of the sides or do you just get a bunch of small quests that lead to nothing?
