Not even gonna bother with MW3. Don't like the company, don't like the "story" they make. Multi-player is probably not going to change, it didn't change much from MW1 to MW2.

To be honest I completely forgot about MW3, thats how much I care about it.

Skyrim, lots of improvements... DUAL WIELDING SWORDS OR SPELLS. Yeah. Skyrim. Oh yeah.
I've told my girlfriend not to get my a birthday present, but get me Skyrim when it comes out. (My birthday is on the 9th of October). I naturally refuse to buy any Call of Duty game because they've reduced the quality of single-person play on games, because they had such a great success with Modern Warfare 1 that they leech off that like a chav leeches Jobseekers Allowance(bit o' britishness there). And thanks to that, every person in my school who spends 14 hours a day playing call of duty has now classified themselves as a gamer.

Prime Example;
Me - "So do you play games?"
Some douchebag from my Computer class "Yeah man, I'm a massive gamer!"
Me - "Ahh nice!! have you picked up the new Fallout game yet? Fallout: New Vegas?"
Douchebag - "NAH! those games are for homos, It's all about CoD!"

I'm buying two games this holiday season: Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 (Motherfucking ROBOT DOG EDITION).

I'm not sure about Revelations, I WILL buy it eventually, but it's not a priority. Everything else can fuck right off... except the Halo Anniversary, if it's reasonably priced, unlike ODST.

Modern Warfare 3. Didn't play Skyrim before, sadly.
I don't mean to sound like a dick or anything but... /facepalm

The series isn't called Skyrim... It's called The Elder Scrolls...
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (The V stands for 5 if you couldn't figure that out.)

Neither. Skyrim, as a single player game, will drop like a stone in price. It'll at least be down to 35-45 after a month. Meanwhile, MW3 will stay expensive for an eternity.

So I'll probably be getting Skyrim first, but at least a month after its release.

I'll probably play Skyrim during the day and MW3 at night.
That way I can be a sexy mage all day and a bro all night.

Damn Activision has some balls doing that. I don't even play Elder Scrolls games and I know that Skyrim is going to be GOTY, so why Doesn't Activision just tuck its tail between its legs and release the week after so that way everyone can be happy.

Actually if the current trends hold I think it'll probably be Battlefield 3. But the fact that Modern Warfare 3 is actually up against extremely solid competitors and a haven't even hidden the fact they're not really interested in anything new will really hurt sales. Especially since Battlefield 3 is openly gunning for its position.

MW3 is a console FPS, so I would of course not buy it.
I am not sure if I will buy Skyrim. I might, but I will wait a little bit, and see what people are saying about it. Most importantly, about how well the side quests are written, and how immersive the game is.

I'm not going to buy Modern Warfare 3, my brother will, and I'll probably play its campaign 3 or so times over the course of several months.

Skyrim is going to be a day one buy, and I will lock myself inside with my PS3 and play that game until my eyes gush torrents of blood. Then I will wipe my eyes and continue.

I'm buying Modern Warfare 3 almost definitely, probably Skyrim (once I get over MW3) if I like the feel of the game engine, and then Battlefield 3 if I like the feel of the game engine. I can't play on the Oblivion engine and Frostbite engine very well, it just feels strange for me.
