Ah, yes, I remember seeing my first video game with non-circle shadows. Such advance and unwieldy technology truly pushes computers to their very limits, perhaps to the singularity or beyond!

Damn. I usually play khajiit first playthrough, did it on morrowind and oblivion, but damn. I think I might actually go with argonian this time.

Umm, have you played any recent games on PC in the last 3 years? Because I have, and I can tell you that shadows can be even better than those ones ingame. Also, the lack of texture filtering and general quality (look at the wood specifically) seems to suggest that this is, in fact, an ingame screenshot.


Oh, and sorry if you were being sarcastic, but it is rather hard to tell when you're reading a short amount of text.

It's going to look like that on 360 too. They said everything cast a realistic shadow and every snow flake fell in realistic non-scripted ways.

This is what happens when you're not pushing for the next big leap in graphics, you get to pay attention to what you've already got. Seriously, in the past Skryim would be coming out on a new console.

Maybe it's just because I have always played argonian or maybe its the character creator himself but this argonian looks too much like a human which is a big downside as this seems to be the only race I liked in previous elder scroll games but I dont like it now. Also it kind of reminds me of the assassin guy from Mass effect 2 although I cant remember the name...
