I think there is going to be 18 skills.
Hopefully the useless skills are gone.

Am I the only one who wants Spears back? xD
You sir, are not the only one who wants spears back. As long as spears do just as much damage as claymores.

Male Dark Elf, medium armor, and a long sword or two. Oh and I'm going to be a thief.

I'm going to be making a imperial female fem-fatale assassin character.
Dark Brotherhood all the way.

After that I'll make some sort of warrior man.

I want something like a Stealthy warrior. So probably a Khajiit with very high armour-based skills. So I can sneak, but, if all else fails, I can just tank it :D

Rough around the edges female:
Fighter/rogue like skill set focus.
Evil Evil Evil :)

Min/max race for these skills (whatever they happen to be)

Muldoon the Clever.

An Argonian assassin adept at archery and arcane arts.
I may have to steal that name for one of my run throughs. It's just too good.

OT: Argonian Jack-of-trades. I know they aren't suited for and warrior/mage/thief skill set but I don't care.

Nord. Always Nord. Best race ever. Course, it helps that I plan to make a Melee heavy character. Maybe two-handed with heavy armor.
So basically Braveheart?

OT: Most likely a Khajit mage with some sneaky bastard moves, maybe running the whole amoral I'll do it for the money personality...

I'm running Dark Elf, like always ^^. My first character is ALWAYS a Dark Elf!
That's odd, from your avatar I would have figured you for a khajit. =P
Unless the kajit look more like cutie cats this time over, no thanks X3.

Thrashbarg the Orc, wielder of hammers, crusher of skulls, and too old for this shit. Being a noble Orcish warrior Thrashbarg refuses to simply retire and fade away. As much as he longs for death's sweet embrace to relieve his old battered bones, he cannot betray his warrior's roots. If Thrashbarg is to die, he is to be bested in battle, by the finest swordsmen, mages, archers or beasts around. Unfortunately for Thrashbarg, the years of training, and then exacting that training on more or less anyone who crossed his path, have made him the mightiest warrior in all Cyrodiil.

So old Thrashbarg will venture into Skyrim, there hoping to find a warrior, or beast, strong enough to honourably give him peace at last.

Though I've not really thought about it too hard. :/

Breton Mage. They're always the most adaptable class/race combos. Right after that, I'd experiemnt with Alchemy and Smithing to see how much money I could get from them, try and buy a house, and then try and find a single Argonian for the giggles.

Honestly, I'll probably play a Nord tank. Fit right in.

I played a dark elf sneaky archer in Oblivion, and for the longest time combat was incredibly difficult for me. (I admit, I'm not very good at Oblivion.) It was only at higher levels, when my sneak skill was such that I could sneak attack 100% of the time and never be attacked because of my permanent chameleon that things got easier.

But I always regretted not being a tank. For the frozen North, I'm gonna do things right.

An Argonian (the only race I like playing) that can do everything, but isn't particularly good at any one thing. Probably going to go vampire after I do everything important and then just kill a couple towns.

I intend to do as little fighting as possible, using as little magic as possible. Not sure how to achieve that yet, but it should prove exciting :p

Female khajiit thief, as always. Seriously, she's always been my first character in an Elder Scrolls game. It'll be nice to see her look a little less like a blob of play-dough though.
