Skyrim: Dawnguard DLC Trailer is out

i hope that you can be a vampire and actually block out the sun like said in the video, the dawnguard do look fairly cool but the being a kickass vampire and taking over the world and plunging the world into an internal darkness is just that couple of levels cooler than being the comparatively 'normal' dawnguard.
For a second I read "Skyrim Drakengard DLC" and I couldn't help but think, finally, they are treating dragons with respect.
You got my hopes up there...
EDIT: By "Treating dragons with respect" I meant, you can befriend them and use them in battle, as opposed to just taking their abilities, of course this will never happen, but I can dream.
OT: Ummm yeah it looks cool, I haven't actually played Skyrim, I'm waiting for the inevitable GOTY/ Ultimate/ insert wonderful word here, edition, so I can have all this DLC together in one convenient lower cost package.

So very happy. There was all sorts of good stuff in that trailer. This is what DLC should be. Make a good game, and people will want to buy DLC because it give them more stuff to use in that good game, not because you took it out of the boxed product and held it over their heads for a few quick bucks.
Fucking awesome. I RP'ed my favourite Oblivion character as a vampire hunter, I like the look of this.

Inevitably, I will play both sides of the story. However, I hope that the end-goal of the vampires is to blot out the sun and the end-goal of the Dawnguard is to stop them. By this, I mean that you can choose either faction, and that is your goal to reach. Thus, if you complete the vampire storyline, the sun is blotted out, and if you complete the Dawnguard storyline, then it isn't. This is what I hope will happen because that would be downright amazing. Plus, it would give multiple incentives (sweet form, don't take damage from sun at end of questline, etc.) to being a vampire in Skyrim.
On my vampire guy I am going to the vampire on my other guys Dawnguard. Being a Vampire in skyrim is not that bad compared to the other ones.Hero in a half shell said:
Um, I may be the only one who thinks this, but the guy in the trailer only said 'end the tyranny of the sun'. While I can understand why the logical conclusion is that they plan to blot out the sun, what if maybe, just maybe, they're actually planning to find a way to become immune to sunlight, or change it? Anyway, I was just jokin' around, for giggles. New shouts would be epic, spells better be a given, seeing as I can't make my own anymore, and, please god...erm, Nine, dragonbone weapons! I'm not even kidding, that's at the very top of my Skyrim wishlist. I busted my hump (aka thumbs) leveling up my smithing skill to get dragonbone armor, and it looks so awesome, but the effect is shot in the foot when I have to swing a daedric sword. (Yes, I rock a sword and shield combo.)
Looks awesome. I mean, I have mods that make Vampires a hell of a lot more interesting, but this looks great! Maybe those mods will end up enhancing this making it even MORE awesome! Kind of wish they included spears with this, but I guess crossbows are just as good.
