Why are people complaining about the xbox folk getting the DLC early? It must means they'll be the suckers who get to tell us whether or not they wasted $5-15 for the privilege!

Besides, who the hell needs DLC when you've got mods! First thing I'll get is some sort of graphics enhancer, 'cause my PC can handle more. Yes...it likes displaying fancy graphics. The computing hurts it sooo good...

1: The voice acting sound quality. If you listen closely, it sounds like everyone is trapped in a small wooden box. It seems that they haven't used a proper recording studio.
Stupid thing is that the studio doesnt seem to be where they went wrong.

Theres a teaser on the score and voicework of Skyrim ("The Sound of Skyrim" on youtube) that shows it well at the end, imo. They have Christopher Plummer doing great voicework, and they show clips of him in the studio doing his lines. Then right at the end they show a full in-game clip for the part he is voicing, and all the character and "gravel" has been edited out of the voice.

So the problem comes somewhere in the editing process, not the recording. They sucked the life out of it.

I'm not annoyed with Bethesda when they do this.

I do get annoyed with Microsoft though.

Mainly because a few months ago MS claimed to be fully committed to PC gaming. If they were then, imo, PC and 360 should both get the same time exclusive window and release at same time.

Before any PS3 owners shout at me I make my point solely with regards to MS' stance on PC gaming, I'll leave others to argue to wider points :)
If a politician is bribed, do you blame only the briber or do you also blame the politician who took the bribe?
These arent publicly elected figures. Theyre businesses. And its perfectly legitimate for one business to cut another a timed exclusivity deal. Theres nothing shady about it.
No wonder business ethics no longer exist.

Why do this again Bethesda?
You do realise that your sales for DLC went dramatically down on the PS3 because you held it off for so long?

Fed up of this...
Bethesda releases DLC on the PS3?

WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?!?!?!

Old news, you've already revealed the benefit for being a part of the 360 master race.
Actually I would call 360 anything but master race. When you can download mods, play on keyboard, free multiplayer, then we can talk about it being the master race. Until then continued to bend over and... Blast, I can't finish that sentence without repercussions.
I'll happily trade away mods to mimimise always on DRM, forced connection to internet and random server outages making you completely unable to access games after a certain date.

Up to their old tricks, I see...they did this with Dead Money, too. Oh well. I'll have it on PC, won't bother me any. I'll be too busy enjoying using a light saber to slice my way through the hordes.

I have a choice, and I don't like mods or keyboards. I would much prefer paid content made by a professional thats why I bought it for 360
PC version supports 360 pads and the best add-on content for Obli, Morrowind, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas came from third parties. That includes patches for a great many bugs Bethesda managed to not patch. A lot of the big bugs in those games are patched by mods LOOONG before Bethsoft even acknowledges they exist!

So you have fun on the 360. You could be playing it with better graphics, no pop-in and a chance for the bugs to get fixed soon, all while enjoying your preferred control method.
I could.. but I don't want to, little thing called personal preference, some things are just factually better on PC for ME personally this is not one and I wish people would stop going on about god damn mods

a)mods
b)graphics
c)mods

whats worse is im playing using windows 7, which is a microsoft product, why shouldn't the pc get it too?

This is PC gamers drawback for having access to soon unlimited amounts of free player made content, we'll just have to wait a little longer for some most likely over priced horse armour. That'll teach us!

PS3 gamers, now those are the ones in the dark here. Poor guys.

Time-Exclusive DLC is non-sense obviously, but I can see why they do it. M$ pays a lot of money to Bethesda for the right to do this, which can only benefit the company in the long run. And given the size of the game, 30 days should hardly matter.

I guess I don't really care since I never bought a single DLC on release day anyway. I always let others give it a try so I didn't end up buying something stupid like horse armor. In fact, I think the only DLC I actually used at all were Knights of the Nine and Frostcrag, and I only got Frostcrag for the pretty awesome Frostcrag Reborn mod.

I have a 360 and I was thinking of getting it on that console but this news actually makes me want to buy it on a platform other than my 360, just because this timed exclusive thing annoys me.

On a side note didn't they already do a news article about this a while back?

Yea, at this point you can assume the ps3 is going to wait for DLC, patches, and everything else. This is the first I'm hearing about the dlc exclusivity but I just figured as much.
MS should include the PC considering it's their original platform.
Then again, MS isn't able to talk pc gamers into paying an extra fee for online.
It just seems kind of pointless... especially since they're probably only going to patch it into working order a couple of weeks after the first dlc launches anyway.

At least its not fully exclusive DLC. I had oblivion for the PS3 and all of the smaller DLC was never made available to us. We got knights of the nine and shivering isles and thats it. So thats why i bought Skyrim for the 360. Didn't want ot get burned again.

Meh. Seeing as I'm just finding out what all the fuss is about currently on the 360, I'll get the GOTY on PC whenever it comes out. I'm sick of seeing all this mod bollocks, it's not a sign a game is wonderful if it requires mods a couple of days after it has come out just to fix some basic things. It's more of a sign that the game needed polish more then anything. And I doubt very much that there are mods which add a great deal to the game out yet.

OT: It's either microsoft continuing with their usual tactics, or Bethesda annoying the fanbase again. Eitherway, it's their loss.
