Like the title says, I have a store bought copy of Skyrim and I want to buy the DLC on steam. Skyrim connects through steam so I assume there shouldn't be any problem, but does anyone know for sure that it'll be good?

The only way to buy the DLC is through Steam.

So yes, it works.
Are you sure about that?

You can buy the DLC on disk in some places, Steam is not the only way.

The only information on the disks is the cd key, it all goes through steam and download via steam.

There is always the option to wait for a hard copy version to come out. Bethesda did make the DLC pack for Fallout 3 available for retail purchase.
