Skyrim is no where near as good as Morrowind, though i did love the dragons. But, i think if you didnt enjoy the game then stop playing it and buy something you do enjoy.
My god I would love to play another Baldur's gate! The original Fallout games were great too. I love what Bethesda has done with the franchise by the way. That is one of the reasons I started playing Skyrim.franticfarken said:I don't find it overrated at all, it isn't the most advanced in the game-play mechanic section however it is beautiful and hosts a truly living breathing world, with amazing landscapes and AI that basically go there day to day chores like they really do exist.
The scores themselves I feel is more for those reasons as well as the extraordinary soundtrack, art and the Massiveness of the game, as you said if you played 100 hours it was definitely worth it.
I feel the elder scrolls is like the Harry Potter books, not the best written things in the world but the world it depicts is enough to give it these high ratings and profits.
However I recommend you stay away from all other modern RPG'S if you mainly play the Souls franchise, if you like those games you won't ever enjoy these new RPG'S. Play Fallout (the originals) or baldur's gate gate, something like that.
Have you tried Spiderweb Software's games? They really have an oldschool charm that other modern RPGs don't have. Though they're more akin to the old gold box games and Ultima games than Baldur's gate. (heck they were making oldschool games when Baldur's Gate was new.) I really would recommend that any fan of oldschool games to at least try the demos of their games.Itchi_da_killa said:My god I would love to play another Baldur's gate!
