I have a 360 copy sitting right next to me, meaning I could be playing this exact moment. Except I have the biggest exams of my entire university course next week and I also had to pack my x-box up as part of leaving my accomodation on deadline.

I'm dying here.

I have my copy here in my little pink hands. And I can't install it because this is PC Gaming: where Valve owns your mother fucking soul.
Do what I'd do.

Bust out the manual and drool at every inch of the package until the game lets you play.

I get way too excited for games like this.

Oh yeah, because 150$ for a special edition is cheap

XD I'm just messing around, I hate how they jacked the price up to 150 to own our souls.

Ladies and Gentlemen: the only time I have ever been jealous of Australia for something Video game related.
I know it isn't video game related but they also have a minimum wage for $15.25/hour and a averager income of 65,000 (20k more than in the US) and in case you are wondering the aus dollar is slighly stronger than the US dollar. So a couple of luxery items cost more there, but all things considered and throwing in the nice weather, it seems like it could be a pretty greate place to live.

Hmmmm. I wonder how I apply for legal alien status in aus. Yatzee should do a special on it. I could move to Sydney

Its not all that great, I just bought my copy for PC and steam wont let me install it because 'its not out yet'. Seriously, can Steam just bugger off for once and not ruin a big game release.
I'm pretty sure it's the vendors that broke the street date without warning their customers about the timed release on Steam are to blame for ruining the release, not Valve.

Commiserations anyway, think it unlocks at 1am EDST.

The most lethal and aggressive species of spider here hasn't killed anyone in over a decade, not to worry

yeah, but I would know they were there and I'd end up using all the extra pay on raid and spider traps

That's only because we're so damn afraid of them we basically gave them their own state to thrive in.

Valve created the Steam platform, and advertise Steam's "Grey Wall" technology as a major feature of the service: it allows publisher's to create regional restrictions on the PC Platform to control all aspect of a game post-release: Valve are pushing for regional pricing, regional release dates and regional availability on a platform who's major benefit is the lack of such things. Valve are directly responsible for this.

I'll try put your mind at easy. The most dangerous spider in the country is the Sydney funnel web, I have lived and camped in Sydney my entire life and have never even seen one.
It would be like me feeling uneasy about moving to the US because I'm afraid of grizzly's. If you see any creatures at all it will be a possum or neighborhood cat, dont surf at dawn or dusk and youll be fine :p

and before you decide to move to Australia we should also talk about the poisonous snakes, Jellyfish, Octopi, Stone Fish, sharks etc. Just don't get me started on the Drop Bears.
