Oh Geez guys. Are you seriously so mad at Valve, creator of many of the world's best games and the INCREDIBLY useful service that is Steam? The company set a release date and Valve honored it. How unfair.

Anyway, it's 11:27pm here...got about an hour and a half til my Steam download unlocks. I'm sure I'll spend more time than that just customizing my character's face!
It's not that, it's one of those things where you're a kid again, with your face pressed up against a display case of that one thing that you just can't live without, and it's so close SO VERY VERY CLOSE, and yet so far away!

EDIT: On a related note:

Ladies and Gentlemen: the only time I have ever been jealous of Australia for something Video game related.
I know it isn't video game related but they also have a minimum wage for $15.25/hour and a averager income of 65,000 (20k more than in the US) and in case you are wondering the aus dollar is slighly stronger than the US dollar. So a couple of luxery items cost more there, but all things considered and throwing in the nice weather, it seems like it could be a pretty greate place to live.

Hmmmm. I wonder how I apply for legal alien status in aus. Yatzee should do a special on it. I could move to Sydney
I see that you didn't mention giant ass spiders. Australia has giant ass spiders.
The most lethal and aggressive species of spider here hasn't killed anyone in over a decade, not to worry
:D Thats right lure them into a false sense of security, we will have them all one day.
OT yeah im in australia but i have way too much to do this week and next week so it looks like i wont be picking it up for a while.

Actually, the Devs will release the game onto Steam when the time is right, it happened with Dungeon Defenders, a guy that worked on the dev team let the game go early by accident.

I have to wait until I get to play my copy, once I get time too enjoy it.

I have my copy here in my little pink hands. And I can't install it because this is PC Gaming: where Valve owns your mother fucking soul.
Do what I'd do.

Bust out the manual and drool at every inch of the package until the game lets you play.

I get way too excited for games like this.
Manual is like 10 pages long..... :/ Kind of disappointed with that,

OT: Why won't it let me install :/ Steamworks curse you >.<

So I caved and played 30minutes, made an Imperial who looked like Wolverine. Then I ejected the disk and gave it to my housemate to hide. Exam study ahoy!

Thanks!

and before you decide to move to Australia we should also talk about the poisonous snakes, Jellyfish, Octopi, Stone Fish, sharks etc. Just don't get me started on the Drop Bears.
US tourists who are fine with the spiders and snakes never account for the drop bears, its important to keep an eye on the trees for their shape luckily most of the trees here are not very thick in the branches so its easier to spot the,
*ahem*

OT: I'm not getting it anyways, but it's cool that my country has been doing this lately.

I have a 360 copy sitting right next to me, meaning I could be playing this exact moment. Except I have the biggest exams of my entire university course next week and I also had to pack my x-box up as part of leaving my accomodation on deadline.

I'm dying here.
For what it's worth I feel for you. I truly truly do.

I should be getting my copy today! As a "happy" coincidence, I busted my back last Sunday and all I can do is lay on the couch and play games. I don't think I have ever been happier about a painful back. Almost brings a tear to my eye.
