Ah, cool =p. It's quite common it seems for people to miss the favorite function. Just favorite whatever you want, and everything on that list comes up in a quicklist when you press Q. It's awesome cause you can have as many items and/or spells on your list as you want.
Don't forget that you can even assign hotkeys to your favorites (mouse over them in your favorites and hit 1-8). It can be a little clunky in some cases (switching to a spell will always switch your off-hand first, and putting a weapon in the off-hand requires manual control), but otherwise it's wonderfully useful.

I tend to have a restoration spell keyed to "8" (double tap to change both hands), assorted spells on 6 and 7, and main weaponry assigned to 1-4.

This. So. Much.

Why can't I lazily repeatedly press drop; why do you insist that I fress confirm for groups of items over 5?
I read somewhere that you can drop/sell/store a single item in Morrowind with a 2 button combination, ctrl+drop/sell/store button, IIRC. I like being able to choose how many items I want to drop/sell/store, but the single drop/sell/store combination would be so much appreciated.

I'm gonna make a semi-realism mod (so that humans can't survive a arrow to the face from ten feet away, etc). I don't see much demand for it, but I don't care, it's more for me, as I got bored of the game in about 10 minutes, unmodded.

Housing. I will spend a considerable amount of time searching for a location, building, furnishing and decorating new homes. Plural. I expect the new construction set to be similar to the Gamebryo ones, easy to use :D

I will be on the lookout for new texture packs as well. I want a High Definition game, fit for my computer specs!

Faster horses.
I know that Skyrims horse are hardy and robust, that isn't why I buy a horse. I bought the horse to go significanty faster from place to place. Hardy and robust is nice in a fight but the horses don't fight unless you get off them so it's kind of moot.
Already here;

Enjoy.

I'd like to see a mod for decapitation. I'm currently playing a two handed Orc warrior and it'd be cool if I could cut off limbs relative to where my final blow was on them. I'd like a mod that shows the second wielded weapon when you're duel wielding too, at the moment it only shows one, maybe combined with the ability to show both a bow and arrow on your back, not just the arrows.

Also, and maybe more importantly so; passive fucking horses. There's no point even buying a horse, if I get off in a fight it decides to join in, usually getting slaughtered by whatever it is. That retarded quest reward horse (called Frost, I think) decided to run off and solo a dragon that conveniently landed in the middle of a Forsworn encampment. It got butchered and it's body landed in a river, getting carried off a waterfall by the current. Retarded horses.

Actually, to make things even simpler, if you're using a PC you can bind items/spells to 1-8 for quick use.
Really???

You Sir (or Madam) just made my day...

Being a Master Conjurer Illusionist Destruction Mage with Alteration School expertise made the whole "favorite Menu" completely cluttered and less useful than the actual game menu itself!

you deserve a dragonload of internets for this info...

The mod tools aren't even released yet and there's already dozens of mods released. From MLP: FIM horses, to child death.

Which mods would you like to see happen?

Me. I want to be able to switch my weapon and spell layout on the fly. Right now it's extremely clunky and slow switching between weapons and spells. Not sure if this is something that can be solved in a mod though.... Seems like a massive oversight in an otherwise fantastic game.

PS. Got both mentioned mods. Now I can trample children to death while riding Rainbow Dash! Bwa ha ha ha ha ha! Love this game!
Not sure if you're aware that you can bind your favourites to numbers on your keyboard. Makes it easier to switch mid fight.

Dozens? Try THOUSHANDS.

Mods I like:
Arrowsmith mod: Lets you craft arrows so you don't have to go looking for daedric and ebony arrows.

Smithy in Proudspire: There's two of these, I may switch to the other one when they put the extra mannequin and chest back in. I wish I had a house that had tons of plaques, racks, and at least 7 mannequins to display the various things I've collected.

Enhanced water effects: Makes water look better than the already amazing level it was at.

Enhanced sky: Stars are awesome.

Detailed Books and Notes: Changes the look of the books and notes when you read them, looks more realistic.

Arcane Enchanter Granite: Makes enchanter looks way nicer.

Dragonbone Fire Armor: Makes the dragonbone armor not look dumb.

Better smithy retexture: The firepits and smoke look more realistic

Mods I'd like to see:

Spider mod: Remove the spiders and replace them with bears or something, like they did in DragonAge. I don't mind them, but my gf and other arachniphobes won't play the game with them.

More mannequins: Self explanatory

Change Dragonbone armor: Currently, it isn't better than the daedric armor, though dragonscale is better than glass.

Something else to spend dragonsouls on: Perhaps they could be used as something above a "grand" soul to enchant your stuff even better? There's already a mod to let you spend it on perks I've discovered most of the shouts in the game and I have twenty plus dragon souls doing nothing.

Dragon Weaponry: There is no reason I shouldn't be able to create a dragon sword.

Followers use the bow you give them: Self explanatory

From MLP: FIM horses,
I didn't know about this. I think I'll be hitting up Youtube now.
I've only seen a few episodes. I grabbed the mod mostly because the game is as mud brown as a modern FPS and seeing rainbow colored horses running around livened things up. 8)
Mud brown? Are we playing the same Skyrim? Have you been to Eldergleam's sanctuary? Or inside Azura's Star? Rainbow ponies in Skyrim would be almost sacrilegious to the game gods, much less totally kill the immersion. jeez.

The only mod I'm currently using is the large address aware .exe. Mediates the trouble I was having with a memory leak and CTDs. Oh and the nude mod, because those linen underwear were just annoying...hehe.

Thank you. Thank you for this. I was about to give up on Frost and just put her down humanely.

Most desired = Massive blanket of text dialogue & tabloids to portray consequences to your status/actions.

I have saved the world, run 3 guilds and own a house in most of the major cities in Skyrim - why have the Companions not heard of me?

I want a mod that if I were to shoot a humanoid in the knee cap they turn into a random city guard.

Somebody above me posted something about Dragon Weaponry. I agree. There is no reason I shouldn't be able to smith dragon weapons. The deadra weapons are neat but the next level would be great.

Edit:

Also don't forget you can use the number keys to assign your favorite items to change without needing to use the menu at all. Only issue is that it defaults spells to left hand and weapons to right so if you are trying to equip your offhand weapon or dual wield different spells your outta luck.

OT:
Dragon, Riding...
and Chicken informants.
Actually let`s say you have fireball on shortcut 1 and a frost spell on 2

if u want fireball on the right hand and frost on left quick you just press 1 two times to dual fireball then press 2 one time and voila: you have fireball in the right hand and frost in the left

works on any equipment

I'd like it if I could become a forsworn. A bit like having another guild. It could possibly lead on from the Markarth conspiracy quest-line and also perhaps after killing the Red Eagle you could be passed his power?
I'd love to be able to organise forsworn raids into cities and the like; would much rather do that than be a stormcloak or imperial.

Also I'd like for spells to be added to the game + a few armour sets so I can play a decent druidic type character. Summon bears, use the weird insect swarm thing that Spriggans use, not sure what else...
