1) Skyrim needs Oblivion's "no psychic guards" mod. I took Faendal from Riverwood up to the Sacellum of Boethiah and sacrificed him to the Prince of Plots. There was absolutely no one there to see us since I'd already killed off all of Boethiah's worshipers, but when I returned to Whiterun the guards tried to arrest me for the murder. There were no witnesses, there was no way for them to know I was the one responsible and it wasn't some random bandit somewhere. Another similar incident, I was following a treasure map just outside Whiterun and I passed through a farm. Since I needed to gather some souls for my enchanting, I decided to start killing chickens. I found a nice dark spot to keep the farmers from spotting me (I was about to start killing their livestock, after all) and shot a chicken with my soul trap bow. I immediately got a bounty in Whiterun despite the fact that I was hidden so the farmers couldn't have identified me.
2) A tweak of AI when you're trespassing. I broke into the Hag's Cure in Markarth on a numbers job and the shopkeeper spotted me. I immediately found a dark corner and my status switched to hidden, but instead of looking for me and eventually giving up like hostile NPCs do, the shopkeeper walked right up to me, stood staring at me, shouting "you need to leave" even though the sneak cursor said I was hidden. And then she called the guards (through several feet of stone and a heavy dwarven metal door I might add) and they came running in, ran right up to where I was hidden and tried to arrest me while I remained hidden. And quite often when I break into a shop or house the owner follows me around, yelling "You need to leave" even though the sneak cursor says I'm hidden the entire time.
3) The heavy armor perks need to be tweaked because right now they're absolutely dominated by the light armor perks. It takes 10 perks to max out light armor and all of the perks kick ass: increased armor rating, weightless light armor, increased stamina regen, AND a 10% chance to dodge attacks. It takes 12 perks to max out heavy armor and some of them suck: increased armor rating, weightless heavy armor, and 10% chance to reflect an attack back on the attacker are great, but halved falling damage, 50% reduced chance to be staggered, and extra damage when unarmed are all worthless. I mean, if you fall off a cliff then you're doing it wrong and who in their right mind goes around in badass heavy armor without a similarly badass weapon and/or spell in hand?
4) A mountain-climbing mod. I'm sick of the game deciding an incline is too steep and forcing me to stop even though I could climb it easily if the game would just let me climb instead of run. People have scaled Everest, spelunkers can climb across ceilings, I should be able to reach Shearpoint without having to circle the mountain looking for the god-damn path.
5) Water combat. Maybe I just haven't discovered how yet, but if I'm attacked by a slaughterfish while swimming I want to at least pull out a dive knife to try and defend myself.
6) A slight "realism" tweak. I don't care how much health you have, if I put an arrow through your eye you shouldn't be walking away from it. Also, if I sneak up behind you with a knife I'm not going to stab some random spot that lets you turn around and fight back, I'm going to slit your throat (this wouldn't bother me so much if the game didn't have two different "sneak attack throat-slitting" animations already programmed into it).
7) I'd like it if masks didn't cut off my Argonian's snout. I mean, no Argonian version of the Dragon Priest masks or the Nightingale hood seem like design oversights.
8) I find it strange that my Argonian has a pair of huge horns on the back of his head but when he puts on a helmet they disappear, so some mod that keeps my character's hair from being replaced by the helmet would be nice.

I would love to get Fallout's companion commands and Hardcore mode added to Skyrim. I sick of companions blocking me in places without a fast back the fuck up option on a wheel, also I've found lots of food that is all really worthless when compared to your average health and stamina potion, add in a requirement for water that can be refilled at almost any creek and I'll be much happier.

After that I want more weapons, I'll be adding all the weapons of Morrowind making sure to add them to the tables for what NPC's will randomly carry. I was really hoping for Deadric Katana & Wakizashi from the start...

I hope someone beats me to it, but boxes and chests need the different inventory options that the characters and NPC's have, as well as a simple set of sort options (weight, name, damage / defense, value...). There is also a bug where when boxes get overloaded it starts taking forever to deposit items into them, this will probably be more difficult to fix (and Bethesda should fix it in one of their patches, before I have to)

Also the favorites need to be retooled, the left and right d-pad should cycle through weapons, armor, shouts, spells, and potions instead of having everything in one annoying list.

I also hate the way the weapons racks work, and that mannequins can't hold weapons, I'll work on those if no one else does.

I have a whole list of projects, not least of which is a dragon mount mod and now that I've seen a certain particular animation already exists it should be done really fast.

I'd like to be able to create scrolls. Maybe as part of the enchantment thing, except this time using spells you've learned instead of having to disenchant things. Have the roll of paper, cast fireball on it, scroll of fireball ready to go. It would be cool for the master destruction spells, to have a few as backup. Also be a cool way for a mage to make money.
Oh, and for the love of god companions, use this fucking Daedric bow I'm giving you, not the crappy hunting bow. Although it is hilarious that I give them one Daedric arrow and they're set for life. I've actually got a fair few Daedric arrows from the corpses of enemies my companion shot...

Spider mod: Remove the spiders and replace them with bears or something, like they did in DragonAge. I don't mind them, but my gf and other arachniphobes won't play the game with them.
There is one already, and it does replace them with bears. I never realised before Skyrim just how many people really didn't like fighting giant spiders in games. It's odd.

I want a mod that if I were to shoot a humanoid in the knee cap they turn into a random city guard.
lol. That would be so funny. If you shoot a bandit in the knee they randomely show up as a guard in one of the cities.

If I had any experience modding Skyrim, I would totally get on this.

My Skyrim Mod Wishlist:

+Survival Mod: A mod that adds in the necessity to have a meal, a drink, and a bit of sleep every now and then. Seriously, there's food and drink all over this game and, at most, all its good for is as a last resort in case you've somehow used up all of your healing items. You will not need to eat, drink and rest too often (you're an adventurer, you can go without a meal or two for a day) but you will eventually need to spend some coin or loot some barrels in order to stave off the debilitating effects of hunger and sleep deprivation (think of those two as diseases you can contract where the only cure is food). This is not so much an immersion mod as it is a reason to spend the massive amounts of wealth we all eventually claim while playing.

Which brings me to my next mod.

+Wealth adjustment mod: Changes bartering drastically. Unless you have invested in those Speechcraft perks, you will be shafted by every shopkeeper you meet. This will make every last piece of wealth you earn that much more valuable when you have to spend thousands in gold just to keep a reserve supply of minor healing potions. Besides, if you're at all competent, you can just craft your own stuff anyway. Also, makes the Bounty quests pay more.

+Settlement Mod: If you don't feel like using the Wealth Adjustment mod, why not sink that mountain of Gold you've collected into building your own settlement? Locate, secure and settle the remnants of one of several different prospective town locations and then invest in its growth. Yes, it will be expensive but there's nothing like "growing" and commanding your own version of Whiterun/Solitude/Windhelm.

+Dragonborn armor: Basically, it's just the armor we've all seen the Dovahkiin wearing in every Skyrim commercial (a mix of Studded and iron armor). However, with enough smithing skill and dragon material, this semi-decent armor can be turned into some of the best armor in the game! The armor becomes increasingly more resistant to Dragon shouts with every level of improvement. Comes in both heavy and light forms but looks the same.

+Spears and crossbows mod: Adds these two Morrowind favorites back into Two-handed weapons and Archery respectively.

+Horseback combat: rather self explanatory.

From MLP: FIM horses,
I didn't know about this. I think I'll be hitting up Youtube now.
I've only seen a few episodes. I grabbed the mod mostly because the game is as mud brown as a modern FPS and seeing rainbow colored horses running around livened things up. 8)
There is a mod for the colour problem. Actually there are two. One is the FXAA injector which lets you increase saturation (Makes everything coloured and more realistic) and there is the Enhanced shaders mods which lights the game better, thus giving everything colour.

Ok, so you know how basically when a dragon spits flames at you he's saying "fuck you"? I'm waiting for a mod that literally does that. Every time a Dragon breathes fire/ice/bears he screams some horrible obscenity at you. And every time you use a shout you scream something equally horrible and childish right back. If done right, this mod could be HILARIOUS.

I want to be able to feed on animals as a werewolf. It would allow me to turn and go hunting in the night for some roleplaying fun.

Also I'd like to be able to feed on humanoid corpses for blood as a vampire because that's always annoyed me!

Hmmm... I'd have to say Vampire/bat transformation. Similar to Werewolves, except with illusion and conjuration spells instead of standard attacks.

Other than that, a mod to make NPCs actions fit their words during dialogue. It would be a big job, but I'm tired of seeing people shout at sworn enemies with nothing more than a shaky raising of a fist etc.

I would make a mod where eating poisonous ingredients can prove fatal. Upon ingestion of a harmful material a warning will show up that says, "You are dying of food poisoning" and depending on the level of toxicity of the material the player will have an allotted time to find a shop that sells cure poison potions, or a nice place to curl up and croak. More powerful poisons will kill the player faster, so a handful of void salts will end them faster than say a deathbell.

I think this will make the game far more interesting and immersive for a budding alchemist and will heartily encourage the alchemy perks to know which ingredients are lethal.

I want more spells for all schools of magic. There just isn't enough variety yet.

I also want a mod that makes it so enchanted weapons never deteriorate. I'm sick of carrying around tons of soul gems and going into my inventory to pop them a few times each dungeon. Boring.

Oh and I want detect life/nighteye/chameleon items. Yeah I really need detect life on 24/7, more than I need plus skill bonuses and other junk.

I would create a MOD to make eating poisonous ingredients potentially fatal. I would bundle this with a realism/survival MOD too. Essentially whenever the player eats a hazardous material, there is a chance of a warning coming up that says, "You are dying from food poisoning.", now depending on the toxicity of the material the player has an allotted time to find a cure poison potion or a nice place to spend his/her final agonized minutes. More powerful poisons will allow for less time, void salts may kill you in five minutes, where as falmer ears may take a few hours.

I think this would compliment immersion and make alchemy as a whole far more interesting, also I might choose to make it so when the player creates a new potion, they don't know what the effect is until they drink it, at which point the discovered properties are revealed. If they made a poison by accident, that sucks, you have this long to live.

Edit, Also I apologize for the double post, there was a glitch and the prior post didn't show up until I made this one, if it is a problem could a Moderator take care of it? Thanks.

Edit2, Also I would make a mod which plays the "Willheim Scream" whenever the player is smashed into the atmosphere by a giant.

Most desired = Massive blanket of text dialogue & tabloids to portray consequences to your status/actions.

I have saved the world, run 3 guilds and own a house in most of the major cities in Skyrim - why have the Companions not heard of me?

This.

I want to be able to piss someone off (Maven Black-Briar, you are a terrible person), and them say they'll get the Dark Brotherhood on me, so I can say 'I am the Dark Brotherhood'

(Sounded cooler in my head)
