I went to the ceremony for the bard college and suddenly some guy half way across the town burst into flames and it put a bounty on my head. Two gaurds jumped around the corner and killed me with their bows.

Having fun with the Dark Brotherhood right now. They turned out to be a little tricky to find. Also, It sure is fun to be a werewolf

Strange thing happened to me, I killed a dragon inside a city and take its soul. All the citizens come to look upon which a little girl comes up and says "In all my years, I've never seen anything like this".

I'm thinking your like 12, what are you talking about!?

Did everybody else see the Headless horseman?

I was just about to kill a imperial group transporting one of those rebels. Then out of the blue, the Headless horseman comes strolling by ruining my conversation with the imperials.

My first instinct was to kill it but who would have guessed. The headless horseman doesn't give a flying hoot about being hit by weapons. Then he galloped off into the night.
Yes, I stalked him he returns to what I assumed was his grave.

Was it a bugged character? Or a legitimate headless horseman?

OT: Yay, first escapist post!
He's legit, and welcome to the forums.

You can just join the companions to become a werewolf.

Also, anyone else having trouble with a memory leak when going from one area to another?

I heard so much about the relationship/marriage thing, but haven't seen a clue as to how it works yet.
You need to go to the church of mara in one of the towns and talk to the priest about marriage. He'll sell you a necklace for 200 gold, and as long as you wear the necklace it apparently lets people know that you're single.

The only reason I would use the marriage system is because I run through companions/party members like paper cups.

1st one (Lydia the houscarl) Eaten by dragon randomly encountered near that big arching stone formation outside Solitude, rest her very useful soul...

2nd one (That guy you can bet 100 gold to beat him in a bar fight) was doing alright but unfortunately was torn to shreds by those creepy blind bat bug people deep underground in a dwemer ruin... What a way to go.

3rd one (The bard from the first town you come across, Riverwhatever) Acted like a ***** the entire time and then died like one at the hands of a freaking nord crypt zombie thing.

I am really running out of options here, and I'm sure word will eventually spread that my spouses tend to either disappear or die horrendous nightmare deaths.

Such is the price of trying to play a pure mage!

My friend killed an entire family in a town but, apparently one member had survived. Now he has assassins on his ass every other second and they're all being sent from that one guy. Its cool but, a little odd to me. Also a dragon attacked me while I was in a town. Bad for it cause guards attacked it with like a hundred arrows and it went down in a snap.

I was wandering North of (I think) Riften in a heavily wooded area when I hear a Dragon roaring in the distance. "Excellent," I think, and ready my hunting bow. Sure enough, the beastie soars into view skimming the tops of the trees. I loose a handful of shafts into the air, but miss as the dragon is too high and moving like greased lightning. "Not a problem," says I. "I'll just wait till the puffed up dinosaur tries to roast me, then I'll pour some of my own fire down his throat."

At least that was the plan. The dragon spends the next few minutes circling me at too high an altitude for me to attack. It as at this point that the game crashes. Since this was my first and so far only crash, I suspect it was caused by the game having a fit trying to figure out how to get the Dragon close to me without it crashing head first into a pine tree.

I saw a dragon perched up on a rock northwest of windhelm on the mountain and shot at it while crouched and got about 20 "sneak attacks" before it noticed me and tried to kill me but i whacked it once and it died.

My most interesting moment was after helping the Companions retrieve an artifact from a temple way up in the mountains north of Whiterun. I fought my way through hordes of undead, found the item, fought the ensuing hordes of undead picking it up triggered, and headed for the exit whistling a jaunty tune. I was full of loot and feeling quite proud, but I was definitely in "get back to town, battle's over" mode.

Stepping out onto the mountain, I see a blizzard has kicked up in my time inside. "No biggie," I mutter to myself, as I begin my trek back down the mountain.

I reach the cliff edge, when I hear a roar. Wheeling on my heels, I see a GODDAMN DRAGON perched on the cliffs above. I drop into sneak mode, hoping it hadn't spotted me, but it was no good. The beast dove over me, ice breath crashing all around me. I was done for if I stayed on this mountain, I knew it, so I ran. I just jumped, slid and bumbled my way down the mountain in a frantic burst, the roars of the dragon seeming to nip at my heels.

As I reached the bottom of the mountain, a pack of wolves emerged from nearby and charged after me. "Great," I flustered. Scrambling to switch to my flame spell, the entire area erupted into ice crystals and freezing air. "THE DRAGON!", I screamed to no one in particular.

Out of no where, three Imperial soldiers show up and start attacking the dragon, ignoring the wolves, who are now also attacking the dragon.

I took this opportunity to hide and/or run away and snipe with my bow. Crouched behind the nearby foliage, I watched as the combined efforts of the Imperials and wolves took down the mighty beast. Then they turned on each other.

When it was all over, there was one Imperial left. I walked up to talk to him, to try and offer healing, but he just sheathed his sword and ran away.

I stood there for quite a while. Just blinking at the soldier running off into the snowy air of Skyrim. I was certain he would have the best tale at the mead hall tonight. ^_^

Went to do a quest to go rescue someone's brother and when I got there the two immediately became hostile and I had to kill my objective.
That was my only pc bug, no giants flinging me into the sky despite being killed by one, no crashes, nothing.

Here's an oddity, me and my brother are pretty much sharing a copy of skyrim, I played yesterday got to around level 13, joined the Dark brotherhood. All that good stuff. When my brother started a new game today it completely overwrote all of my save data. So now I have to start everything form scratch. Im sorry I know this kind of post doesn't quite belong here but I just needed to vent a little.

I agree with the OP. Giants do suck. The first time I saw one, I decided to attack it. Big mistake. I haven't flown so high since the Boots of Jumping in Morrowind. Thankfully, I'm playing a no-magic character, so I've been pumping my health. The second time I encountered a giant was during my second dragon battle. I had just downed the dragon, and then suddenly, a giant out of fucking nowhere, and it was aggro. With my good amount of health, each hit only dropped me down to 5% health from full. Thankfully, I'm an archer, so all it took to down the bastard was to use hit and run tactics.

Got attacked by a dragon while running through a wide open field. Shortly after the dragon appeared, a wolf decided I was lunch. Then a sabre cat. Then a Skeever. I'm not even kidding. Luckily they all got toasted by the fire breath of the dragon. Then the Dragon got ADD and went after a mammoth nearby. Well, his Giant buddy didn't really like that idea, and I sniped the dragon from afar while the giant and mammoth wailed on the poor sap.

Oh, and a different dragon attacked later. A woman came out of nowhere and started punching the dragon in the snout. It promptly bit her and flung her away. After killing the dragon, I was sad because I couldn't find her body. I wanted to see the face of the "Woman who Punched Dragons"

And, not really an oddity, but it is incredibly satisfying to shout a bear off a cliff.

Was wandering around when I found about 4-5 hunters near a tent with no armor, no weapons, and none were spellcasters... i looked around to see if they had any loot and i noticed a banded shield that i took because why not(it didnt have a stealing thing on it so it was free pickings) then everyone there attacked me like i punched their grandmother... was so fun beating them all down!
OT: Ive noticed that if a dragon cant land in a "perfect" spot then it will eventually leave the area... sucks when happens too

I got married with Ysolda after bringing her a mammoths tusk. However, I haven't seen her after the wedding. Seriously, she's nowhere in Whiterun! I guess she got cold feet.

Also, I'm a werewolf and a Thane in two villages.

k ask you, how is it i can take down a dragon with relative ease, braving fire and claws and hacking away until the damn things dead, but if a giant so much as gives me a scary look, kaboom, i get to be a couple thousand miles above high hrothgar.
