All the other crashes have nothing to do with the sound. I have tried every option in the sound devices. And like I said, it is random. Sometimes I can play for hours, sometimes for a few seconds. Just have to wait for a fix.
Did you set your own advanced videosettings in the launcher? try resetting them to one of the presets: low, medium, high or ultra.
Rumor has it something can go wrong when you set your own. i noticed my videosettings got reset after a CTD when i had my own prefs in it.
Now im running at 'ultra' which isnt the perfect setting (sometimes choppy in crowded interiors) but i havent gotten a CTD since (fingers crossed)
