I'd share some screenshots as well, had a pretty rare shot of the headless horseman that rides around the map, but sadly my computer took an electrical surge to the processor.

I'm guessing your game is heavily modded, because my experience isn't half that green.

Anyway, I've played this game a little too much, and it was kinda wearing on me, but I was doing the last Dark Brotherhood mission and I killed the important personage (spoiler friendly wording) and I left the location where the important personage was and I was looking across the water and the sun was going down so everything was orange and the light hit the waves perfectly and there was even some mist rolling along the shore and I stopped and thought "Wow, this is the prettiest video game image I've ever seen." It's a game that definitely makes you stop and appreciate things.

Then two minutes later, a snow fox fell out of the sky and died right in front of me for no reason. A good day of Skyrim in my book

What exactly IS the discussion here? "I don't like Mass Effect so here's Skyrim" isn't really much of a discussion. Just sounds like complaining.

:p The discussion is to post screenshots. Does no one get that?

Exactly. :) Really makes Whiterun seem lively.

But Skyrim is painfully dull. Why would I want to see pictures from it?

If I an uneventful relaxing walk through nature, I'd go outside. If I wanted it to also be disappointing I'd play Skyrim.

If I wanted to beat myself over the head with a hammer; i'd read blissfully contrary escapist responses..wait I actually am. Damn :/, somebody bring me the backside of a felling axe. Hit me in the face, I want it in the face.

Maybe if you don't want to see skyrim screenshots you wouldn't go to a thread titled "Skyrim Screenshots". But since you're here, maybe you can enjoy yourself :D.

Well, whatever your opinion is on the game, I think it's safe to say that it's pretty enough.

OT: wish I had a PC

The picture of you fighting the dragon is actually rather interesting with the contrast between the fire and the blow glow off the Dragon.

Also, what's the final picture?

I got a mod which makes the water look nicer:

I found the bloody Star Child from Mass Effect in the game:

And I got a very pretty sunrise/set in the Vanilla game:

I've gotten some excellent scenery from vanilla.

Outside the Dawnstar Sanctuary:

Early morning. I loved all the pink and purple going on, even if I typically hate pink.

West of Solitude:

I think it was later in the day?

Oh hi there Sinding:

Oh god Blackreach why are you so beautiful?

So, let me get this straight, you came into a thread about sharing Skyrim Screenshots, that is titled Skyrim Screenshots, asked what the point of it was, then when having it pointed out to you, ask why you would want to see Sceenshots of Skyrim instead of just ignoring the need to post and then proceed to go on and call it dull and disappointing?

Congradulations sir,

Now, on topic:

I only really have one Skyrim Screenshot at the moment and that is just a shot of my character that I'm playing:

It's only from the start of the game, so he didn't have any other equipment, and I have another Imperial Character now that is more advanced then him. Though, at this exact moment, I'm a bit too lazy to boot up Skyrim only for the point of taking some screenshots.

I also have a couple from New Vegas since I've been playing that though (And since they're also on my Steam screenshots list right beside my Skyrim one) if that counts for anything;

My opinion is different to other peoples, but clearly my opinion is right.

Skyrim is the best selling game on Steam ever. Obviously a lot more people disagree with you than agree with you :)

It is a very pretty game, especially on the TV I have. I just wish it had more substance.

That's the thing about an opinion. They aren't inherently wrong. I'll agree that the game looks very good, that a lot of time was taken in making it very pretty. There just isn't much beyond that for me.

And people can have different opinions from me. I respect that. I've got a really good friend of mine who loves Skyrim but doesn't care for the Fallout series as much, where I'm quite the opposite. Differences in opinion are how discussions where discussions come from, hence why this forum is called "gaming discussion". It's full of people who have differences in opinion pertaining to games.
