As soon as the news about problems with the patch showed up, I turned off automatic updates via steam.
I would have done that also, but my steam refuses to accept, especially for things like tf2, change the setting, look back a minute later, I TOLD YOU NOT TO DOWNLOAD

1.2 has done a new problem for me. Suddenly my Dark Elf with 50% fire resistance and items that buff it up as well is very flammable.
So that sucks.

Saw this thread...face entered pillow and i muttered the words OH MY GOD!

If Skyrim is unplayable for you, then it's probably your system. At least 80% of the escapist are NOT having game braking problems -.-
And if you are on a console? There are problems. It ain't the system.

The memory leak was there from release. I know. I have it. They still haven't addressed it. I feel your pain.
That's more of a longstanding Gamebryo / Creation engine issue. I'm not sure how extensive their re-code of Gamebryo was for Creation, but it's logical to assume that this is the case.

Hey, i have it on 360 and i have not had 1 game breaking glitch, the worst that has happened is a bear got stuck in the side of a mountain and i saw a horses head coming out the floor...but that's it.

So if it's maybe the old 360 system, it could easily be a fault with the system.

Try a PS3 slim bought six months ago. It isn't the system. The memory leak affects new consoles too.

Oh really? Then would you like to explain why I did not have this problem before patch 1.2?

I have had the game since release and have only had 1 single crash. No game breaking lag (occasional stutters, but rare) and other than a few graphical and clipping glitches common on all 3 systems no other problems. I have not updated either though so make of that what you will (and I play with mods, one of which improves performance so maybe that is the reason I don't have as many issues)
