How come every time I enter my house in Whiterun after completing a long quest, there's a guy in my house who's just leaving!? Is my wife cheating on me? I put a roof over her head give her everything she needs and this is how she repays me!? What's the penalty for killing your spouse in skyrim, can I remarry a more faithful person?

Sad to say it but she probably is, the Dragonborn is born with the blood and soul of a dragon, he just doesnt get the area where it really matters ;D

*chuckles*

Running around slaying dragons all day doesn't make the bed at home any warmer I suppose. But don't worry. It is probably just her 'platonic' friend.

Maybe if you'd gone into Alchemy instead of Smithing you'd be able to buy her nice things and make a potion to cover that. Ain't no shout gonna help you in the bed.
But still, I've had the female blacksmith in Whiterun walk into my house, where my housecarl Lydia lives. The thing is, my bed is the only bed big enough in the house for two and she spends all day sitting on a chair in my room...

If somebody is having an idle chat with you (EG: a guard saying "What is it, Dragons?") and you enter or exit a building they get dragged along.

Happens all the time to me even if the house is empty.

Remember kids, shouting "Fus Ro DA!" while giving head may seem a good plan at the time but it'll end in tears.

There's a mod that you can use to divorce.

That said, I am aghast that Bethesda hasn't added couples counselling in their games.

Aela used to cheat on my Dovahkhin too.. Then she took an arrow in the knee.
See, I don't care what people say- I still laugh at these.

OP: I had that problem, with a (male) town guard who just couldn't stay out of my house.

Well, we had to break it off, the wife and I. The marriage, that is. We are hardly a lesbian couple if one of us is shagging any number of the identical town guards every night. I won't say it didn't hurt, but the staff of lightning I scored out of the deal softened things up a bit.

It's if you walk into your house while an NPC is talking to you. I always get that 'I work at the general store!' guy jumping in and out of mine.

I can't really accuse Farkas of cheating on me when I'm still worried about the time that I planned to marry Sanguine (or some other random) in a drunken stupor...:|
