But nothing has confirmed 100% that Sheogorath is the Champion of Cyrodill, for all we know the CoC gave the title to someone else.

Also the process of mantling, the process the CoC used to become Sheo, alters the appearance of the manteler into the mantele.

It is very possible that Sheogorath was originally a female Argonian, but it is negated becuase when she became Sheogorath she BECAME Sheogorath in all ways thus being transformed into a Breton male.

So the player's choice of race/gender is explained away in lore as "whatever you want, you just transformed into a Breton male".
Well he does mention that Pelagius is the most noteworthy Septim apart from "that Martin fellow; but then he turned into a dragon-god, so that's hardly fair".

It doesn't bother me though honestly, the main characters in RPGs always end up with a high enough body count to justify most psychoses and I'm glad they brought him back.

OT: I think I'd like the conversation system closer to that of a BioWare game. Skyrim is sort've that way, with multiple conversation options in some respects, but they never really affect anything and the quest continues regardless. It would allow a bit more character development than we get now.

To add:
Ability to become a Jarl.
No unkillable characters under ANY circumstance, seriously, why the fuck couldn't I kill Tulius AND Stormcloak to get their stuff?
More recognition for your individual achievments, ergo, I played dark brotherhood and spend ninety percent of the time in shrouded etc, why the hell is maven black-briar STILL threatening to send the brotherhood after me?!
Recognition that the war IS OVER when THE WAR IS OVER. Seriously, no one is aware that I have killed Ulfric stormcloak? What the fuck.
Smarter AI. I'm sorry, but If I shoot some guy while sneaking and his mates don't see me, they should not sit down next to his corpse like nothing happens.
Take away:
That SHITTY pre-dawnguard vampirism shitty shit. It's so pointless. I really, REALLY fucking hate it.

Which anyone even remotely near the Imperial City, or who got out of their house, would know that martin turned into a Dragon-god. It isn't like that was information that was kept under wraps.

Well, picking more intimidation dialog choices causes NPCs to use more hostile dialog when you pass by them.

It'd be nice if you could talk to everyone. Like, in Skyrim there's a lot of NPCs that say something when you interact with them, but you can't actually talk to them like you can everyone else. It's a bit of an immersion breaker.

After playing Dragon's Dogma (while super cheesy it IS kind of fun...) I've realized that the dragons in Skyrim are pushovers. If Skyrim's battle system was something along the lines of Dragon's Dogma - epic 20 minute fights where you'd have to grab onto the back of the dragon and hang on for dear life while trying to stab it - with the dragons having weakpoints due to their scales being awesome armour... and having the dragons taunt you as you do so...

Yes, Skyrim -was- fun, and amazing compared to Oblivion (oh man so much better) it's still lacking in the dragon combat. I can't play Skyrim anymore due to this. Three/Four hits and the dragon dies? Feh.

Well, that and the guards. Save the world from dragons -- "NO LOLLYGAGGING."

Because you can go up to everyone IRL and they will just have a conversation with you?

I actually want to see that, pick a random person down a city street and try to start a conversation with them, they will most likely rebuff you.

Being a Jarl and better AI would be great. Also, why do some pepole on this thread need to pick arguments with everyone? Oh ,I forgot. This is the Internet.

No. Because real life isn't a game.

How does it break immersion exactly if its somewhat realsitic?

immersion is the how well you can get into believing the medias universe, so making the media realistic should provide for better immersion.

If anything being able to talk to everyone should be less immersive because most people wouldn't talk to you, having them talk to you would make the world feel fake and crafted, instead of realistic, or at least, believable.

A game doesn't have to be realistic to be immersive. I just meant that I didn't like how sometimes I'd want to talk to an NPC, but I couldn't, whereas I could talk to most other NPCs, and it really kind of stood out. They felt like they were just crammed in to make the place a bit more crowded.

Those things would be fun but I don't consider the game lesser for not having them. Fable is the game for that kind of stuff, isn't it? Like a fantasy themed Second Life.
