Thrown axes. I mean c'mon, you're in the land of Nords. If something's too far away for you to swing your axe at, you're supposed to THROW your axe at it. *chugs tankard of mead* Bows are for elves with silly pointy-toed boots. *hic*
Oh, and that Stalhrim ice armor from Bloodmoon too. That stuff was annoying as all hell to get, but looked amazing as well as being a very effective medium armor. That and some new Stalhrim weapons would make Skyrim exactly the kind of game I'd play the hell out of.

Pillows. I only want pillows. Morrowind has them, Oblivion doesn't, Skyrim should. The Great Pillow Thief needs new lands in which to prevent restful sleeping!

BETTER WRITING! I want characters to have real personalities and not seem so 2D. Deeper, unique characters and a reactive, dynamic society would be awesome. Oblivion was beautiful but so souless, it was like a vast, empty dead world.

More options with dragons would be epic (Befriending) Which I believe they have already stated. Taming one... it is immoral to Tame a Dragon when they are in a setting that they are intelligent creatures. If I could have one be a Companion that just so happened to not mind me on its back, than I would absolutely love it.

Allow FULL Customization of Armor (Such as putting a Shoulder Piece only on on shoulder instead of both. Something to create a more immersive tie with your character). Morrowind had a system that ressembled this and I quite liked it. And also maybe something from Witcher like having Trophies strapped onto you and it gives a higher impression rate to the populace to see you (Physically not with psychic links)

Fable-like systems would be interesting, such as having a home that is actually customizable instead of just running into a store and buying a ton of already picked out shit, and also turn items out in the wilderness into items for your home, like a Bearskin Rug. Getting married and having children... that is something I don't really care for, but if they add it whatever; whatever brings in the immersion I guess.

Just overall I want them to not really exceed my expectations, not even meet them, because I already know that Bethesda knows how to make a game that will mind-fuck me either way, because they know how to do it, not me.

Wilderness creatures that don't level up the same time you do. I want a sense of progression in my RPGs, not a Skate style sandbox where I can go wherever right off the bat.

More voice actors.

Also, hand-to-hand weapons like in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Anyone can kill a Dragon with a sword, I want to be able to punch one to death wearing a glove made from the bones of his friends and family.

I'd like to interact with the Deadra again in some capacity, some of them gave the best missions in Morrowind and Oblivion, definitely something i's like to see again.

I'd like a survival mode option built in the game. To help preserve the immersion, like when walking between towns you have to regularly eat or sleep, hunting can become essential and planning trips just as much as planning a dungeon dive.

You can download it right from the official site. You will also need a DOS emulator, but those are easy to find.

On topic: As long as it is a great Elder Scrolls game I'll be happy. I agree with all of Liudeius' requests except for "fun glitches". Not like we have to ask Bethesda to put glitches in their games anyway...

I would do anything to have someone like Christopher Lee or Benedict Cumberbatch lend their voice to a series like Skryim

You may know Christopher Lee for playing Saruman in the LOTR's and Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast and the voice of Smaug the Dragon and The Necromancer in the film adaption of the Hobbit :D

I want stealth to be more of a viable option. In oblivion, no matter what weapon you were using when you attacked from stealth, you were guaranteed to take out less than half the enemy's health, and if you build a character around being a sneaky thief, then you're screwed in that scenario. Which happens every time.

Luckily, I've heard that bows are much more powerful and you can perform assassinations, so my dreams of playing a true thief class and not a sneaky knight may come true.

#1 real, honest to goodness wish: Bookshelves that arrange themselves with my lovely 1st editions and series collections.

It's superficial, but I can't imagine a person who'd be unhappy with that wish coming true either.
I know how you feel... The annoying gnawing feeling to make your 'home' look great x3. (In ES3 the house of Ra'virr the blacksmith. Poor guy. Getting the hammer to meet the nose. Though his house served its purpose. Decorating was a pain. Oblivion did it better with the dragable items, yet it's still missing a little bit.) It is completely irrelevant to the game and only Nocturnal knows why the blazes I am doing this. (that and why I have a sickening kleptomanic nature. I swear I could never play a lawfull good paladin or anything. I'd be stealing the guys wallet who just released me from prison / off the boat.)

Back to topic:
What would I want in Skyrim?
Uhm... As cheap as it sounds, but how about a werewolf curse. Now before you shoot and string me up give it a thought. We have vampire disease. There was bloodmoon with TES3.

And maybe, just maybe, and this is truly idle hope and a lost cause.
Multiplayer.

Yes, some genious kid had actually got it to work, using piles of script and lots of coding. It's buggy as hell and hard to make it work (not to mention instable) but surely Bethesda could do this better? I know that it would take out the single hero of the land idea. But what if the online would create a duplicate world (like in terraria) where you can go places with your friend(s). But it could also just be me thats moaning.. (probably)

I never was pro - dualwielding. Why? Well I found it redundant and the way other people saw it work just wasn't for me. But now that I see how Bethesda has been doing it, I am getting rather excited about it.

Don't be as bad as Oblivion;

*No psychic guards.
*More guilds to join.
*Have a faction system like Morrowind.
*A main story that doesn't suck.
*Just because this is a medeval fantasy game does not mean you have to have a "good vs evil" plot and characters.
*Some tough decisions in the main quest that have an affect on the story.
*More interaction with people instead of just asking about the city and rumours.
*More variety in dungeons like Morrowind.
*More variety in weapons like Morrowind.
*That stupid levelling system from Oblivion.
*Companions that are interesting.
*Do not call the Fighters Guild, "The Companions", I'm sorry but that is the worst guild name I've ever heard (very low chance they will change this name)
*If you hire a well known actor to voice a character, don't kill them off during the tutorial.
*A fast travelling system like Morrowind.
*A more fantasy style setting like Morrowind or the Shivering Isles.
*No Oblivion gate style gameplay or features.
*If you want to have moral choices make them grey or don't have them at all.
Most of these bascily, exept the moral choices part.

More armour
More guilds
Factions
Morality choices
A better story
CAPES!

I also (and this is a very far stretch, but still, I can dream, right?) want an actual, functioning Dark Brotherhood system. For instance: You kill someone in front of a relative and run away. Nothing happens, right? WRONG! The surviving relative summons the Dark Brotherhood and orders them to kill you. So, your wandering around, minding your own business, you go to a tavern, buy some stuff and then leave. Well, when you do, you are back-stabbed and killed by an assassin! Therefore, the only way to survive after killing someone is to keep on your toes at all times! Admit it, it would be cool!
It'd be cool until it happened for the umpteenth time. Insta-kills are only cool when you're the one doing them. If they could have an assassins like the orc dude in Oblivion (i.e. "stealth is for sissies" style assassins) then it'd be manageable.

As for my wishlist, I want more armours that fit in. Oblivion had some very pretty looking armours but a lot of them seemed more high-fantasy than the rest of the world. I guess I just felt strange walking through towns in shiny gold elven armour or spiky daedric when all the NPCs are are wearing iron, steel, and chainmail.

A levelling system that isn't broken would be nice.

I loved Oblivion to death, but it was so awfully broken in so many ways that the list of things I'd change for Skyrim is too long to post.

So long as the assassination thing didn't become like the Morag Tong in Morrowind where they randomly appear while you're trying to sleep. First time playing that game (GOTY) and an hour in I'm being attacked. I hadn't really figured out how to attack back.

It'd be nice if, when you reach the tops of the guilds you can actually still go do stuff or train up underlings or something. As fun as DB was, when I reached the top, I never went back to the Lucky Old Lady.

Scarier enemies? I don't know whether it was just the graphics but Morrowing certainly had a 'kill it with fire' thing going on that wasn't in Oblivion :/
