(Yes, another Sky---wait what? thread). So after reading a few threads on The Escapist about Skyrim I realised I wanted to know what sort of characters you guys played, and your respective playstyle. Screenshots are appreciated. So here's my guy:

Sex: Male

Race: Nord

Level ATM: 54

Playtime: 83 hrs

Difficulty: Master

Companions: Ugred the Unbroken, Shadowmere& Lucien Lachance

Playstyle: Two-Handed, Destruction, Enchanting, Smithing, Restoration, Heavy Armour.

Equipment: Full Set of Legendary Daedric Armour + Enchanted Glass Set of armour that lets me cast destruction spells for free.
I keep an enchanted and non enchanted Daedric Greatsword - legendary of course. I also have a pair of boots that give me a total of 96% frost resistance. I also possess all 15 Daedric artifacts - and I don't use any of them.

Armour Rating: 747 w/ full Daedric

Combat Style: Usually I charge in full on with my greatsword, never blocking just wildly swinging - if that doesn't work I just blast the enemy with unlimited fireballs from the spell 'incinerate'. Pretty much nothing is a challenge for me - except those damn lightning dragon priests!!!

Bored of all these Skyrim threads.

No, they didn't. =P

My current main character is:
[Name]: Vince

[Race]: Argonian

[Gender]: Male

[Play style]: Two-handed weaponry, Light armor, Enchanting

[General equipment]: Battleaxe [Frost damage], Warhammer [Shock damage], Full set light armor, Notched pickaxe, Woodcutter's axe.

["Class"]: Freelance treasure hunter / Barbarian

[War faction]: Neither, they're both crap. (...and I got the achievement on a different character already so. HA!)

[Married to]: Scouts-Many-Marshes | OFFENCE ALERT:[GAY*GAY*GAY] | (It's what happens when you get bored. ME_GUSTA.jpg)

[Main questline progress]: Not even killed the 1st dragon, probably never will. (...once again, already got the achievement.)

TL;DR?: My character is messed up.

Hate to break it to you, but do you know that after 587 armour does nothing? It's the unofficial armour cap where you hit the maximum of 80% damage resist.

Sex: Male

Race: Khajiit

Playtime: 61

Difficulty: Adept

Companions: Lydia

Playstyle: Light Armor, Smithing, One-Handed, Destruction, Sneak, Archery, Enchanting

Equipment: Glass armor (not yet enchanted)

Armour Rating: I'd have to check

Combat Style: Engage from range (as in from the top of a mountain, whenever possible), whittle them down, then send Lydia in to distract them while I drop lightning bolts on their head or toast them with fire magic.

Name: Bahk-Tee

Race: Argonian

Level: 32

Playtime: Around 60 hours I think.

Difficulty: Adept

Followers: Lydia(Deceased) Erandur (Deceased) J'zargo (Sent away) Illia (current follower)

Playstyle: One Handed, Heavy Armor, Block, Destruction, Restoration, Enchanting

Titles: Dragonborn, Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold

Combat Style: Depends on what kind of enemy I'm dealing with. If I'm far away I tend to use Destruction magic from afar. If I'm fighting an enemy up close, I would activate a cloak, (mostly Frost Cloak) and equip a weapon and shield.

Against mage type enemies, I've recently adopted a strategy which includes using a ward and charging straight towards them. Getting close enough to hit them with my melee weapons. If there's more than one though, I'll hang back and use destruction magic and restoration magic to heal as necessary.

When going up against certain enemies I like to use my enchanted ebony sword that does 15 frost damage to both health and stamina. If I'm up against something like a Centurion, I'd just backpedal and use dual fireballs.

Sex: Female

Race: Wood Elf

Level ATM: 32..33? Somewhere in there.

Playtime: 50+ hours, not all on what is now my "main." I tend to waste tons of time opening every single container I come across and picking everyone's pocket. But hey, I checked my gold stat earlier and it was at 100,000 all time!

Difficulty: Master

Companions: I don't really use them, they tend to fuck up my stealthing.

Playstyle: Archery, sneaking, pickpocket, lock picking, smithing. I generally just sneak around and shoot people with my bow, poisoned if I feel the need.

Equipment: The thief's guild armor that you get when you join, a superior elven bow and whatever arrows I feel is appropriate. I have an elven dagger of...fire or something, but I never use it.

Armour Rating: No idea.

Combat Style: Sneak around and shoot people with my bow! I have magic and melee characters built and I'll likely play them through some of the more appropriate side quests once I finish up the main quest line and such with my thief.

I do have plans for a couple more (especially a khajit archer), but my first and current is here...

Sex: Female

Race: Dark Elf

Level ATM: 28

Playtime: ?

Difficulty: Adept

Companions: None. She works alone.

Faction: Thieves' Guild (reluctantly).

Playstyle: Thievery (all), Archery, Illusion/Destruction magic.

Equipment: Whatever works. Currently, a dwarven dagger/sword, elven bow (w/soul trapping), elven warhammer, assorted armor (random archery, lockpicking, magic regen buffs).

Armour Rating: Meaningless, if no one can see me.

Combat Style: SNEAK ATTACK! If previous doesn't work, steal enemies' weapons and armor (hooray for maxed out pickpocket), then charge with a giant hammer.

Name: Norrid
Race: Nord
Level: 20

Playstyle: 1H, Block, 2H, Heavy armor (Smithing & Speechcraft)
Difficulty: Expert
Class: Stormcloak Missionary

Personality: Mildly racist against Aldmeri, Dunmer, and Imperials. Thinks Khajiit aren't trustworthy. Holds most Nords and Redguards in high favor. Bretons he isn't sure of. Seeks to separate Skyrim from Imperial Rule but thinks it unwise to be a completely Nord population. Imperials, Aldmeri, and Dunmer are what he sees as "bad influences" on the future empire of Skyrim.

"Brim"
Sex: Male
Race: Brton
Level ATM: 42
Playtime: 50+ hrs
Difficulty: Master
Companions: None
Playstyle: Destruction, Illusion, Alteration, Restoration, Enchanting, Speechcraft.
Equipment: A full set of fancy clothes and jewelry enchanted with massive fortifications to Magicka and protection.
Combat Style: Illusion spells to twist the enemy into slaughtering each other combined with powerful Destruction spells to wipe out the remainder.
Personality: Despite his considerable age, Brim has a wry sense of humor and considers himself very charming, and like hitting on any woman he finds attractive. He rarely feels real anger, but when his wrath is unfurled he takes a sadistic kind of delight in driving his foes to butcher each other as a kind of poetic justice.

My own personal story for The Elder Scrolls starts in Morrowind, with a Dunmer thief called Katra who turned out to be the Nerevarine. After liberating Morrowind she met a devilish young mage who called himself "Brim" (probably short for "Brimstone" as he loved fire magic) and they ventured south enjoying a more simple life as an adventurer but slowly becoming aware that Brim possessed more power than seemed normal even for a Breton. They were separated in northern Cyrodiil and Brim was arrested for burning down a village to kill an imp that had been stalking him for hours - the fact that the village was a Skooma smuggling cover mattered little to the authorities.

Brim was drawn into the Oblivion Crisis against his will, but used the opportunity to make his fortunes. When Katra returned to his life she got him involved with the Mage Guild, and he rose through the ranks quickly, though the elder mages realized his power hinted at something dangerous behind his foppish visage.

After the Oblivion crisis Brim and Katra traveled alone together. Brim left the Mages Guild and it is believed that he followed Katra to Akavir. In reality they enjoyed almost a century of life together, enjoying a somewhat tempestuous romance and it is believed having Dunmer children.

Brim did not appear for another two hundred years, long after everyone who may have heard of him (save his family) had died. Visibly he appeared to have aged to late middle-age, but physically and mentally still as spry as his youth. Journeying under his assumed name he was on his way to High Rock when he was arrested when an Imperial guard accused him of bewitching her to cross the border. Deciding the Empire had lived long enough he joined the Stormcloaks to free the nation.

During this time Brim began to learn what a threat the Thalmor were to Tamriel and began taking steps against them, and also learned that his longevity was in part due to his having a dragon soul, though there was more to it, in that he was the reincarnation of a dragon who had been punished by his own kind to be born as a mortal and learn some humility. Ultimately deciding he liked being mortal, Brim slew Alduin and many of his old kin, seeing them as "just another apocalyptic annoyance" getting in his way.

Note: This background was mostly forced into being when Skyrim came out. I had intended for my Dunmer Thief and my Breton Mage to live happily ever after and die, considering Skyrim takes place 200 years later, but the game deals extensively with the "Dragonborn."

And when I was playing Oblivion, the custom class I made for Brim was "Dragonborn," because he was a dragon reincarnated as a mortal. I am not making that up. He didn't want his old life back, he had grown to like being mortal and wanted to enjoy it to the fullest.

So when I saw Skyrim I decided to bring him back. I made him an old man and everything.

Revan the Outcast
Race: Nord/Werewolf
Level: 31
Playtime: 35+ Hours
Difficulty: Adept
Companions: Aela (my wife) and my Dog
Factions: Companions & Bards College. Still on the fence weather Legion or Stormcloaks.

Equipment: Full set of Dragon Bone, Dawnbreaker, Spellblocker, Ring of Hircine, and Amulet of Talos. I also sometimes wear Steel Plate Legendary, and use my custom enchanted Nord Hero sword Luna. I also use the Shield of Ysgrammor from time to time.

Playstyle: When starting fights, I tend to use Fus Do Rah. My shield bash can do as much damaged as my sword, and I can easily stagger foes enough for my to decapitate them with ease. When things get hairy I use my ring to transform as much as I need to.

When not questing I spend my time Smithing and Enchanting in my home in Solitude.
