Either spell and sword, or sword and sword.

Yes, I am a battlemage for life.

I'll dual wield rainbows so I wont even have to fight.

My enemies will be all like, "DOUBLE RAINBOW!"

What weapons will you pick to have equipped at the same time?

For me, it would be (if possible) two shields. If not, a shield and my fist.

EDIT: New one from you guys, dual forks. One to stab and the other to nom nom nom away.
Shield and shield sounds awesome. A "confused turtle" class xD

I'm probably going to take a simple sword and go with spellcasting on the other hands.

It's for awesome factor, and is pretty much exactly how I want my character to work in fantasy games. Too few games allow me to be a spellcasting warrior.

As Justin Gooch said, two crossbows.

I'd be a medieval John Woo.
Ok so... after your first two shots? I mean cool and all...
Well hopefully they will have repeating crossbows, or like wrist mounted crossbows that are more easily reloaded. I can dream!!!!!! but no, honestly most likely two spells, or a dagger and a spell and be very ninjaesque, cast invisible on myself, then sneak around and stab someone in the throat.

Hm. Flames in my right, Flames in my left.

Or when faced with a particularly fast or strong opponent, double Firebolt.

(When facing mages I have a ward in one hand and a fire spell in the left)

Dual axes ftw!! So far, my basic strategy has been to blow all my mana on dualcasting fireballs, whip out the double axes, yell dramatically and then charge in swinging.
