Anyway, I found out about the slender man thing a couple of weeks ago via knowyourmeme.com, started watching the videos on youtube in the dark. My god they are terrifyingly good.

Um... a foggy forest? I don't get what's so special about it.

I've never heard of this before, but it's pretty creepy - although to be honest, I think it was mainly the music to the video that freaked me the most.

Can't say I believe a word of it though, and that colour photo on the video is just a man in a suit with his head blocked by the tree.

He's more than that. He tends to follow people about, has a penchant for abduction, dissection, and impalement, and his angles and proportions are always off. Also some sources say he doesn't have arms, but loads of writhing tentacles, which he uses to walk on instead of his legs. His face is featureless save for two pale white spheres that bear only a passing resemblance to eyes. He's extremely fast, and seems to be able to change location without moving. Perusing this thread will tell you more, but you might end up very paranoid...

I'm sorry but I just don't see what's so scary about this thing. All those fake pictures and messages and recordings just come across as tacky to me, sorry.

I had my dog with me the whole time and I managed to watch 4 of the marble hornet videos, but my dog has walked away so I'm not game to watch anymore. If I ever see Slender Man (sounds like a super hero name), I'ma kick his ass.
