First The Rev, NOW THIS!!! Well at least Spineshank are back together. Still the musical world just got a little less bright.

Well, they're an awful band so there's that. Condolences go out to his family and friends though in the highly unlikely event they read this.

On the plus side though, maybe slipknot will disband and people will listen to (at least) half way decent metal instead of pop radio metal.

I absolutely hated Slipknot, but the death of practically anybody is always sad news. RIP. And I guess I might aswell say something positive about the band...er...at least you guys were more talented than the Jonas Brothers.

RIP.

Pete Steele, Dio and Gray in one month...

It's a sad month for metal :(
Actually, Peter Steele died in April. So that'd be two months.

And according to the Metal Archives, a doom metal vocalist (of "Colosseum") passed away a day before Dio. And the manager for such bands as Possessed and Exodus passed away a mere two hours after him (Dio), also of cancer.

We're dropping like flies, and have been for the past three years, apparently.

*Sigh* There goes a legend. R.I.P
No. There was nothing remotely "legendary" about Paul Gray. People can't call someone a "legend" just because they got famous and died. Geddy Lee? Legend. Bootsy Collins? Legend. Paul Gray? Not a legend.

Pity. Even as a devoted fan of the genre I can't say I ever liked Slipknot, and I honestly never thought they were much more than a gimmick. Still...there goes a wholly competent musician, and perhaps more importantly there goes a human being. RIP Paul Gray.

Damn....what's with all the musicians I like dying lately? The Rev...Dio...Gray...

I feel so badly for his family, and the band.

Time to dig out my Slipknot T-shirt in memorial.

I did't realy listen to Slipknot that much but from the few songs I did hear they all sounded like good musicans. Slipknot are a pretty popular band and this will rock a few people. But may he Rest In Peace. Mabey he can start a band with Dio.
