Wasnt this meant to just be Liara in a specific Japanese style? Not actually showing what the character actually looks like on purpose?
Well, the picture on the right is the prototype, and it never got made into a fully colored version. So yeah, the comparison can only goes as far as her breast size. It just turned into your average anime/manga girl figurine with a blue skin and a ME3 outfit.Selvec said:Well in that comparison, yes the on the right will look better. Its full detailed, texturized and painted. Its got a soul. The one on the left is just a clay blank model that's in a shape.
Personally I think the one on the left looks more like Liara, or whoever its meant to be, it looks better in my opinion. Looking at the hips of the character model in proportion with the bust size shows an odd comparison on the right one.
Besides, chick is pushing her arms together on the right, which would cause a decent size bust to squeeze up a bit, particularly if the suit is of a skin tight nature, which it seems 99% of Mass Effect's females wear.
I'd agree but the first one isn't even finished, a coat of paint changes everything about the image you're seeing.Lilani said:It's not that people don't love boobs, it's that it's rather annoying when they are the only significant feature on the character. The first figurine has no substance, her face is totally blank and lacks any sort of expression or purpose. The second pose is still rather pointless, but at least there's a bit of a fire in her eyes.Zenn3k said:Seriously, who doesn't love boobs? Gay Men, Straight Women...everyone loves boobs.
Why, thank you! *pumps fist* (First time called 'classy' online!) XDputowtin said:Sckizo, you are one classy boy!
A coat of paint won't change her expression or pose. You can see all the features on her face, including her eyebrows. You think they'd go through the effort to have them carved into the model like that and then move them someplace else with paint?Lyri said:I'd agree but the first one isn't even finished, a coat of paint changes everything about the image you're seeing.Lilani said:It's not that people don't love boobs, it's that it's rather annoying when they are the only significant feature on the character. It still doesn't look like Liara and it still doesn't look like a news article but we're bound to have "slow days".
What are you talking about? The figurine is showing literally no skin other than her head. And of course it won't look 100% like Liara, it's done in an anime style. It's unreasonable to expect it to look like Jillian Murray.Nashidar said:Seriously?
I'm sick to death of people who design models for female video game characters who all appear to have a common disability:
They can never button/zip up their tops over their breasts.
What - are they buying clothes the wrong size or something? This is ridiculous.
