ever been kicked from a game by a twat host for the dumbest reasons??

this happens alot on rainbow 6 vegas 2 ... especially co-op terrorist hunt .. this one dumbass (even though he was getting massacred) told everyone not to hog Xp and if we killed someone he'd kick us .. firstly why not just go on solo .. secondly xp gets shared no matter what .. thirdly he sucked

the worst is people that kick you because of rank .. or because you got a higher score than them even though they out rank you .. 1 game i was in with 3 other elites and i ranked 2nd place, throughout the whole match the host praised my skill, after we won (remember i out scored 2 elites!!) he saw i was a senior sarg (a middle rank) and went "ahh silver's a noob" .. then kicked me, even though ingame he praised my skill more than once .. and he was one of the ones i out scored -_- some have kicked me JUST BECAUSE i got a higher kill c

doesn't this piss you guys off? that any immature fuck can run his own game and kick ppl for the dumbest reasons

Yes. Whenever anybody joins my game on Garry's Mod 9 I can be quite bossy sometimes :p

I'm also pretty paranoid: I always follow offenders through the sight of the AWP thinking "Wot's this dickhead gonna do next...", before fragging them several times then the inevitable kick.

Well look I, as an Elite player model living amongst Spartans, have met some of the worst of the online (*censored*)'s in my time. There was the time my entire team kept killing me over and over again and teabagging my corpse before finally booting me based around my choice of design. And there was the time some guy kept spamming me during the match non stop with troll-worthy messages, the dude who kept shooting me in the back because I was an elite and so on. People kept booting me, people hated me and I wasn't doing anything wrong. My team shot me, my enemies shot me and naturally every time we lost a match it was somehow magically 'my fault' every single time. You know the drill, I was slow, clusmy, got hit easily and couldn't duck behind low cover... all bullshit because those never hindered me once. Of course there was the rule that because I was an elite I automatically sucked and that they were spartans and had special powers because they were 'special' (a laugh given how many of them I tore through per match) It got to the point where I wouldn't even join a match unless it was all elite players which was considerably more mature and enjoyable.

To be fair though, they weren't all like this. And it seems the 'Online Alien Citizenship Status' has finally come through and elites are being respected a little more. But like it or not, no matter how many Spartans online I have befriended... I shall always bare the emotional scars that they gave me.

I don't tend to play online games all that much (probably for this reason), but I do recall being kicked from left 4 dead matches for the ungodly crime of being pinned by a hunter etc

I used to be good enough at Halo 1 PC to be kicked for accusation of hacking.

That was a long time ago, though. Those fraps videos on my youtube channel are nothing compared to what I used to be.

I was a sniping in Red Orchestra, when it was still only out for UT2k4.
Pretty much dominating the entire other team on my own (as soon as they showed their faces, they died), the game host suddenly asked me how to kick people.

I tell him to use the /kick command. 30 seconds later, I'm permabanned from the server. Because HE always wanted to jump out in the open on the same fucking spot, even though there were 3 exits from his spawnpoint, of which I could only cover 2. The third exit would lead him right behind my back, actually. God damn.

I once got banned for talking about putting out some cigarettes on the neighbours children. Probably for the best.

I don't join games which give an individual 'the power'. That is because that power is so heavily abused by that one individual. As they are more commonly enough immature little ones.
Though the only times i get booted are in warcraft 3 games where the host just doesn't like my name. (hell it aint offensive in the slightest.)

I guess they were just jealous that you had the 'advantage' in team swat. If you can remember that increadibly outrageous outcry from spartan users about the elite model.

On the original Xbox because I joined a game of Splinter Cell where 3 people who knew each other were playing and managed to take out all three of them single handedly, when we got back to the lobby I was kicked.

I get kicked from PC games because people want private games but are too thick to make them private as opposed to public as well.

I was playing BF - 2142 a while a go, and the map had low gravity, and usually their is several spawn locations for one team that can be capped, and the other is uncappable so that team has to try and move up and cap the others, apparently the opposing team isnt allowed into the uncap area as u can easily spawn kill people. Fair enough right.

So i was invisible and i walked like literaly 20 meters down a ramp, towards the uncap (The area where u cap it is still ages away) and i knifed a sever admin who was sniping on the ground, and he banned me cause i was in the uncap spawn killing..... his words were

"UNCAP RAPE, SPAWN KILLING - BANNING Sambo73-1"

i think he was just pissed cause i pwned his noob ass =D

Yes, that's why I no longer go on Halo or any COD. Team Fortress 2 is so much better.

Don't beat yourself up just because they're too bland and uninteresting to pick the human design.

YEAH I KNOW!! ... seriously, sometimes these guys piss off the wrong dude

i remember warrock this guy did that and one of the people he pissed off was a modest hacker (a guy that knew how to hack but didn't and played honourably during games) ... chaos shortly ensued ... he scrambled the hosts high lvl account and changed the passwords to all his e-mail accounts ........... i thought it was over the top at the tine but now i almost jizz whenever i think about it

Yeah, it's always better when you are the host. Unless people don't bloody join. Then it sucks. lol

Some games are better for it than others. Less competitive games are usually better than halo for instance.
