I've gotten kicked from L4D servers for not having certain achievements.

In Vegas 2 matches where the host is on my team and just kicks whoever kills him so he can win, I just shoot him. I believe kicking a greater crime than team killing and I hate bad losers.

I noticed that on a TF2 clan server, one of the clan members was acting like... an asshole. He was one of the 5 engineers (...), I told them to switch to a medic or more useful class.

They told me to shut up, and we lost the next 3 games because they refused to change the class. Oh, and their sentries were constantly being destroyed by ubered soldiers or demoman. Or even heavies.

I was kicked from multiple games of GTA 4 for killing people.
I once got kicked because I had a small reputation in that game for destroying everyone. I got a message from one of the players saying "we herd bout u an decided tat we don lik u."
I was also kicked from a game of Resistance 2 because I, a low leval private, was in first place among a bunch of leval 20 somethings I think. Thats about it. The ps3 doesn't seem to have to many twats with the power to kick.

When I had just gotten L4D, after playing through all campaigns once with bots, I tried joining my first online lobby (on Normal difficulty). I made the mistake of saying that I was new to the game. I was summarily kicked. Xbox LIVE for the win.

Actually, being kicked by douchebag hosts is usually not my biggest problem, but ragequitting hosts is. It happens with some frequency in Team Fortress 2. It's rather selfish to prematurely end the game for 15 people just because you get backstabbed or dominated or lost a control point.

Once on hardcore TD on COD: W@W, cause I had a KD spread of about 3:1 (only by luck I might add) I hear over the team speak "Man, lion is taking all the kills". Then my team killed me 4 times so I just left.

I was kicked from a Killzone2 match because apparently I was a "Turret Whore". I am sorry for using what is available in the game, but in most matches I can maybe get two kills before some one snipes me.

It occasionally happens to me in Warhawk but it doesn't bother me. Even though I usually have no idea why I was kicked.
I just find another server to play on.

i don't use peripheral weapons like turrets but they're designed to make the game more intense and less repetitive ... kicking someone because they're using what's available to them is just moronic

I don't get too many kicks from online, usually because I don't play much, save for LIVE TF2. I do have a problem with ragequitting hosts.

I think the only time I myself have ragequit as a host was when my team refused to listen to anything I said as we severely lost, as the other team easily danced, and I DO mean danced, around the place with their easy victories.

I got kicked in Call of Duty 4 for "having speed hacks" when I had a moderate sensitivity and just turned around as I'm pretty jumpy.

DotA, before the game started for having the same IP as my brother.

It's funny, some people will kick you if they find out you're playing togeather, cause they're either afraid of getting pwned, or afraid of a double rage-quit when one gets pwned.
Others will kick people to make room when some random dude joins and asks for a spot for his mate

Not really a server, but I was playing the saints row 2 mini-games where you kill each other, (you can choose them after you die). I killed my friend a few times, he screamed at me, and quit the game.

Gentlemen welcome to Doc's Guide To The World Of Online Gaming and Why He Does Not Frequent It. Unfortunately I have Xbox Live, which is mostly populated by meathead gamers and small children whose vocabulary consists of racial and homophobic slurs.

I was kicked from Castle Crashers for 'hogging kills'
I was kicked from Halo 3 for using a Plasma Pistol followed by a Battle Rifle which is apparently a 'noob combo'
I was kicked from Team Fortress 2 for playing Medic which apparently is a useless class
I was kicked from Call of Duty 4 for being a newbie, for using a particular weapon, for being killed, for killing, for daring to help my team and for using claymores

The list goes on and this is why I stick to playing with friends offline.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
back in ut2004 I was spectacular, I got kicked from a couple servers since I had twice as many kills as the next player ppl thought I was cheating and on one custom assualt map there was a choke point that had a tank at it, it was a long straight away that ppl has to drive down in scorpions but with a tank with elevation they never even got half way tho it, host kicked me for that too

Aaaaahahahahahaha. Apparently they've never seen a Battle Medic. They're faster than the everyone but the Scout, and can one-shot with the frequent critting bonesaw.
