It's not quite time for a meal, maybe you're in the middle of work or class, or maybe your just not super hungry, but you still have a mild stomach rumbling nonetheless...

What kind of snack food would you choose if you could have any?

A stick of beef jerky? Chips? Some Chocolate perhaps?

Or would you be eccentric and go for something disgusting odd like my sister and mix together various ingredients like peanut butter, pretzels, and bananas or something?

I usually go for a bag of spicy beef jerky and a bottle of coke or Dr. Pepper, but if I could have anything as a snack? Probably THREE bags of spicy beef jerky and a coke or Dr. Pepper... And an Erdbeere Quark for the hell of it. It's not really a snack food, but screw it Quark desserts are delicious!

TL;DR

What snack is the best snack?

Bacon wrapped Jalapeno poppers.

Jalapenos for flavor and to add spice to be killed off with alcohol.
Cheese filling for grease to slow the absorption of the alcohol.
And, wrapped in Bacon because... Bacon.

M current snack is a cup of dry cereal. Which is probably better for me than my second choice of raw pasta.

Popcorn is also good but I generally can't be bothered to make it.

If I ever have bacon, I usually just have it alone. Why add to things when its amazing on its own?

Jalapeño poppers are great too, the only thing I don't like is when you microwave them and bits of it are boiling while others are lukewarm or cold XD

That's a problem with microwaving in general though.

A persim berry. They're kinda bitter, but I like them and my head always feels clearer after I have one.

Well, besides the usual snacks, I do like to have some pretzels with mustard.

I'm a fan of Lum berries myself, but they're so hard to come by :/

Failing that Pecha berries are pretty good too.

Yes, I love Pecha berries. They're very healthy, full of antitoxicdents.

I like having some raisins or dry oats, mostly because I'm too lazy to cook.

Brie and crackers have been my go-to snack for years, although sometimes I change it up and get another type of cheese.

When I'm at university, whatever is on offer at the local supermarket. Typically crisps.

When I'm at home, crisps.

Kids, I am a great role model and you should so follow my example.

The company I work for provides free fruit so it's usually a couple apples for me. At home if I feel a little rumbly in the tumbly I'll make a quick cup of soup or a fried egg sandwich.

But teach me master! What kind of crisps? Are we talking pure potato slices? Does that extend into crinkle cut crisps? Do Pingles and other such processed stuff count?

I'm fond of toast myself. And crackers and cheese.

Personal favourites:

- Tesco own brand cheese savouries - these things are hella addictive
- ready-salted is the best flavour, probably just because I'm a vegetarian
- I happen to be a fan more of the processed ones these days. Didn't really think that much about it until now haha!

There's a local brand of potato chips called Red Hot Riplets.
They are tasty and spicy in absurd levels. (they're basically Paprika/bbq Ruffles if the Ruffles were made in the 90s before they got so soft like they're predigested)

I find that when I'm feeling run down Chesto berries perk me right up.

OT: Ummm... I don't really snack because I'm a health nazi.

I don't really snack that much these days, mostly because I'm on a diet that involves eating six smaller meals a day instead of three big ones. But when I do get peckish in between food times, I often have crackers and mozzarella.

Depends, sometimes i have toast with this meat thing on it. (it's called pate pronounced pat-eh and you get it it a big chunk and cut off a bit and spread it on toast or whatever.

other times i have two crackers, with brie on one and cranberry sauce on another put them together and voila, instant delicousness.

I don't really snack often but when I do its usually a cup of tea and a ham and provolone sandwich.
I get creative in my meals. not so much my snacks.
