Snake on Youtube videos?

So some youtube comment said to pause the video and hold left on my keyboard to play snake... and it worked. What. The. F**k.

Since when did- !?!? MY MIND IS BLOWN. I go on youtube practically every day and I've never heard of this! I know it's next to useless, but was there an announcement or something? Was I the only one not to know this?

And before anyone tells me it doesn't work: As far as I can tell, it only works with the newer videos (i.e. the ones with the clear-ish loading bar). The older video layout doesn't work as far as I can tell.

I read about this on 4chan, tried it, didn't work. Can someone give me a link to a video where it will work?
