Best: Leading World PVP raids on WoW. Immense; having 40-60 people running behind you, your lieutenants screaming out for people to follow orders, and then the moment utter chaos takes over as soon as the Horde come into sight and I set about causing as much devastation as possible, despite me only being armed with 0.5 tier gear and The Unstoppable Force, thanks to a dedicated team of healers who are doing as much damage to others as they are healing the other 6 or 7 squads in a sane sort of confusion. It really is the best form of bonding. PIX ON FLICKR [http://www.flickr.com/photos/25819611@N02/sets/72157604743867344]!

Until...

Worst: Raiding on WoW. As in, instances. My guild - and the ones we allied with - all sucked because we were all used to charging at enemies who would charge right back, not gain uber-special abilities at 50%, summon a million more enemies at 25% and heal back to full at 10%.

Some of the finest battles Planetside has ever seen along with the good crew TDC, the Terran Death Company of Emerald.

Worst? Let me lay that at the feet of Firewolf of the Khans, or my old friend Emperor, both of whom managed to get me violently lynched in the glory days of Neocron by living up to the legendary stupidity of the GenTank class and failing to arrive at a scheduled ambush, leaving me all dramatic talk and no backup.

hmmm lots of bad teammates, healers and tanks are a problem, most think they're good at either job but they aren't

i've had tanks that well don't tank, they take the easiest enemy out and let other ppl take on the big things or they aren't paying attention to what they're doing

i've been tanking and had healers heal up the mage the other other ppl and let me die and then get pissed off cause they party is then wiped.

i've had ppl say my theories don't work and is garbage, when tried they work like a charm but i'm still wrong about how to go about things.

don't even get my started on fps games and ppl not knowing their rolls in that game

I never really have bad team mates, partially because I surround myself with talented people and partially because they surround themselves with talented people. However, I must say that there was one specific time when my opposition was terrible. It was even worse because a friend of mine, who was playing on their team due to it being a random team game, was banned from the IRC channel we frequented because he didn't want to put up with being TK'd for 30 minutes.

It's incredibly silly how stupid some people can be.

I refuse to play on my own on Vegas 2, it's just so bad. No one covers you if you're the team leader as they think they're the ultimate force so rush in and get mullered leaving me on my own, seriously, if you're ever going to play Vegas 2, play it with friends as you'll be hating every minute of it on your own.

However theres a group of 5 of us who play together on Vegas 2, i think our biggest win streak was around 60 something, if you have a well thought out team who know how to protect eachother and focus on the game in hand, not a crappy weapon achievement then you're unstoppable.

Just recently i was playing CoD4 on Search and Destroy.

My team (including myself) went in there and killed every enemy member with minimal deaths. When we had the bomb, we ran to the bomb planting zone, planted the bomb, and we were just awesome. No mouthers on the other team either, they just said "Good GAme"

every other game where we lost a maximum of 500 points: 750 points is my worst team members.

Halo was a bummer for me. I only occasionally played with my real world friends but when I did, I suddenly remembered why I tried to avoid them.

I got it all, plasma grenades on my back, sniper headshots, bitchslaps and all from my own team! I would be worried that they didn't like me if it weren't for the fact they always did the same things to each other.

The worst is one of my friends who would always try to get his hands on the banshee. The problem was that mid-flight, he would completely forget whether he had inverted the y-axis and would usually land or shoot on one of us. When he did, he would always blame the game for inverting mid-game.

Thank Samus he never got an 360.

Best: A couple of guys from the States. We met in Rock Band, played for a couple hours, with me as the vocalist. Then we all switched over to GeOW and had a damn blast. We've done this three times now. Best online gaming experience on the 360 yet.

Worst:Halo 3. Valhalla. Big Team CTF. Holy fuckcakes. Within the first minute, some doofus who was guesting on someone else decides that we would all make great Wraith target practice. I didn't get killed, but I did start ignoring him. We won the match. I now loathe Big Team matches however. Seriously, there is always at least five guests in the match, and they always either suck, pwn everyone, or leave before the end of the game. Le sigh.

Best: Halo 3, Relic. It was VIP, both sides 1 kill from victory, and we were carrying our VIP around in a Warthog while the rest of us camped the Spartan Lasers (except me, I was in the Banshee). One of their lot scores a lucky grenade and flips the warthog, leaving our VIP+driver and gunner pinned by three of them and their VIP.
I'm boosting towards them thinking it's over, when two S.laser blasts and a sniper shot barely miss their VIP, but smash 2 of the other guys to bits. Our guy plows a chopper through 'em, splattering the last guy, and knocking their VIP up into the air when he jumps to avoid it (collision glitch, maybe?). I promptly swoop in and swat him down in mid air, squishing him against a column. Victory.
Fricking awesome teamwork, even if it was mostly accidental.

Worst: There's no one game I could say was the worst, so I'll just give a list of some of the worst people in Halo 3.
Drunk players.
10-year-olds who think they are "the nuts" with the banshee/sniper-rifle/rockets/beam-rifle/spartan-laser just because they finished Halo 3 on easy with their dad.
A player who refused to fire the cannon on the Wraith "cos he wanted to ram stuff" (he was probably 10 years old too).
Anyone who goes quits or goes afk at the start of the match for no reason.
Everyone who has shot me out of the Warthog gunner seat because they wanted their friend to do it.
In fact, anyone who blows up your vehicle because they wanted it but you got there first.

Try the MGO beta for a while, you'll encounter some horror stories once you see the dread that is *ominous voice* BASE.

Seriously. Everyone's running around with knives, as far away from those game-deciding bases as possible, while you're left trying desperately to hold the single last base against three people at once.
Then again, the MGO beta also has the most "oh thank god for my teammates" feeling in videogame history: Being saved while in a chokehold.
Also, there's NO sweeter feeling than coming upon a friend being choked, raising your gun, spattering some rounds out and watching the enemy drop and free your friend. "You can count on me!" indeed. But that's beside the topic's point.

The best team mates in an online game, ever, huh?
Me and two guys, up against a full enemy team, thanks to mass dropout. The game is Call of Duty.
So we hole up in a house, and turn it into our own personal mini-version of Pavlov's freaking House for the rest of the match. Two snipers working 'shifts', one to draw attention and the other to blow skulls out. Me guarding the entrances downstairs.
We won, outnumbered 4-1. So badass.
Did I mention we won WITHOUT A SINGLE LOSS?

Best & worst: Playing with a freind on Halo it was 4 v 4 and the other two on our team had 20 deaths with a whole zero kills to back them up but me and my frend managed to get 25 kills each and only 2 deaths between us giving us a very close victory.

Call of Duty 4: S&D: We didn't kill a single person and some jerk killed half my team before we killed him.
