Weird, due to, a heat wave, I guess, it rained here monday. On the snow. Which then completely froze. The ground was a skating rink until the sun came around. Last night it just rained on slush. It's still too warm to call winter.
Feeling nostalgic for last year...

I got a solid foot of snow, but as I live in western New York it's nothing special. We've had much worse. Comically, all of the area schools closed in anticipation, and now look foolish as they've stayed open on days far worse than this. Not that I'm complaining, it's the only snow day I've gotten this year.

Here in Colorado, we've had only a little snow, 3 inches here, 4 there...

But it's been around -20 F for the past couple of days. Even at high-noon.

Well in Holland it rains like 50% of the time, but I guess that's still low compared to England.

To defend the wusses who are in charge of calling the Snow-days, a lot of the areas that have frequent snow also have methods in place to prevent accidents and clear roadways, like plows, snow-chains, etc. On the other hand, a place that normally only gets a few inches has no option but to close down because drivers in the area don't have snow-chains, there aren't enough plows for the roads, etc.

Yeah, here in Southern Ontario, we got quite a lot of snow on Wednesday.

Somewhere near 35cm I think.

EDIT: It might not seem like that much snow to some people who have gotten way more, but it still is quite a bit.
