Yes, even if I didn't had plans to play this game at all [I have many other games to play], a monthly PC Magazine have for free the game Skyrim.

Now, the magazine cost 6,80 euros, but I also read the magazine and I enjoy it [except its reviews.....my god, they gave to The Bureau: XCOM Declassified 85/100.......bullsh*t in my honest opinion....]

SO, shall I buy?

Well you could always buy the magazine and sell on the game if you don't particularly want it.

How exactly do you get the game though? Surely not every copy of the magazine is getting a free copy, or else everybody would be getting it?

Skyrim is a game that every "gamer" should have played. It's an example of open world done really REALLY well. If you can bag it for free with a purchase of a 7 Euro game I see no reason not to...

Even as someone who actually despises many things about Skyrim, I'd still say it's still worth buying. The first 6 hours were amazing, the 60 hours later were a grind and a slog.

(I know, I'm stupid for playing a game I don't like for such a ridiculous time. But you keep hoping it will get better and you have so many quests that you gotta finish and then you regret everything.)

Does it include any DLC? If not, you might be able to get it for a cheaper price on Steam if you wait until the Steam winter sale.

Regardless, it's definitely worth that price. It's a fun and immersive game with dozens of hours worth of content.

Yes, every single copy of the Magazine have a copy of the game.
In Europe [I think] it work like this.
I think someone else told me why in USA doesn't happen, but I don't remember anymore....

If you enjoy the magazine , then sure . Try the game , if you like it's a bonus , if you don't well nothing is lost. Free stuff is always nice.

Just do a triple check that the game comes with your first purchase and isn't some subscription tie-in or surcharge for non-subscribers, they love to pull that stuff on people who miss the fine print.

Although if you don't intend to play the game I can't see why you would get this, since Steam sales exist it's really not such a big investment to get older games cheap, at best you can resell it for $20.

A full game, especially a high-profile blockbuster like Skyrim, being given away for free with the purchase of a 6.50 gaming mag sounds fishy at best.

My advice: read the small print. You sure you don't have to subscribe to the magazine for a year or something first?

But if it turns out that you really are getting Skyrim for free with the mag then hell yeah go for it. That is assuming you actually want Skyrim and the magazine, of course (and that your PC can play the game!).

Buy every copy you can and sell the game separately on eBay for 10-15 Euros a copy. You will have a great game to play and make a good profit on the rest. Skyrim still sells for more than that so to get it for that price, I'd definitely get it and sell some further copies on top. All copies of PC Skyrim are activated on Steam anyway, so you can even just sell on the Steam CD Keys.

As for the game, it is fun, if shallow. Very well made with plenty to do.

PC magazines in Greece have these offers fairly regularly, and Skyrim is 1,5 years old now. I'm guessing it's with PC Gamer or some such, and those are quite old and respected publications.

Get the game, αδερφέ. It's totally worth 6,5 euros, even if you can only manage to play it for 10 hours or so. I put in about 40 hours with just the original and a couple of mods about a month after it came out, and I haven't regretted it at all.

Don't worry about it. PC Master [the name of the magazine] for long time gave away full games for free.
Here is a list of another games PC Master had for free in the past:

So, I believe is ok

Definitely worth it. Especially the PC version. Hundreds of hours of gameplay and an insane amount of mods will surely keep you occupied for quite some time.
