Just released today

So it is call Ninfia in Japanese, I think, or at least, that it was I read. I vote for fighting type.

Looks a lot like milotic, but I have no idea what type it is. Flying's my first guess, but it looks like a normal type too.

It's really not clear like the others. It's hard to guess :/

I'm going with flying, just with the way everything appears to be floating on it but it does look a bit plain to be anything but normal.

I'm still holding out hope for a Light type.
Probably not though so my second and third guesses go to Poison or Normal.

The color scheme actually kind of reminds me of Skyla, so I'm just gonna say flying. I don't like it though, I mean so far all of the eevees have only animal-like traits (I guess glaceon's "hairstyle" might've been pushing it), so having these random bows is a unappealing.

There's also always the chance it could be dragon.

In all seriousness, in my opinion, it looks like a normal type, or possibly flying or dragon. Can't wait to find out. Was disappointed they didn't add any new ones in B&W.

I'm hoping for either a Ghost type (Shadeon, I would prefer) or a Steel type (Metaleon, again my preference). Either will do nicely ^.^

what I've gathered from tumblr that its Light type, which will be apparently be a new type introduced to pkmn and makes up the Dragon, Steel and now Light trinity, like yknow, Fire, water, grass etc.

If it is ever introduced I bet that in Japan its "Holy" or something like that considering that Dark is "Evil"

Also the proposed trinity isn't possible without changing how Dragon and Steel interact

don't care what kind of type it is. it looks kinda lame. black & white had that problem too. all the versions before that had a lot of badass 'mons. then then black & white has you starting with either a pig, a grass-snake or a water panda thing. the first few hours all you meet are lilipup (a yorkshire terrier), pidove (a pidgeon. because, you know... we only had about 4 of those), an angry chip/dale on weed and a cat.

There were so many awesome fakemon eeveelution designs yet after so many years, this is what they finally come up with?
If I can't tell what type this thing is supposed to be by looking at it, that's a pretty bad design for a pokemon imo so if this is anything but normal, it sucks.

I'd say either flying or normal. If flying then it must be designed to stand there and let the wind blow through it's bows.

But a bug type?

I'm hoping for a steel type Eeveelution.

I was thinking normal from the looks of it, possibly flying or fighting at a stretch. Maybe it's a new type, I really hope we get more info on X and Y soon. Like starter evolutions.

Edit: I'm also gonna throw out there that this eeveelution will kinda suck, much like Leafeon and Glaceon. That said it can't be as useless as poor Flareon ):

This generation needs a good physical stab for Flareon!

Yeah, looking at it i cant think of a rational reason to think that its any of the current types.

Other than normal, and im finding it hard to imagine Game Freak justifying an eeveeloution thats normal type.

Then the executives going as far to showcase it in a new movie.

So, yes, ill throw my lot in with the new light type.

Instead of dragon and steel, how about dark and psychic?

Could be that light is immune to, and is effective against dark and psychic is immune to, and is effective against light.
