So a punk is messing with you and your friends....

So, follow me on this hypothetical.

You are sitting in a restaurant with your friends and 4 guys at the table next to you are shouting, throwing food and proving themselves to be God's illegitimate children that he prefers not to talk about.

So by coincidence, your group and their group leave at the same time. As you head towards the door, one of the punks walks into you and--clearly drunk--pushes you. And when you turn around to confront him he gets within 4 inches of your face and says "What do you want?"

So, what is your response?

Ignore him, most likely. But if he pushes the issue, I'm trained in multiple forms of hand-to-hand combat...and one of my friends always carries around a handgun of some sort. So I'm safe XD

Realistically, I'd just ignore him, or say "nothing", and walk away. Then, if he started picking on me again, or if he was to pick on any of my friends, at all, then I'd probably punch the guy in the face. Then proceed to grab whatever is nearest me that I could realistically use as a weapon, to defend myself against his punk mates. I won't start the fight, but if they carry on harassing me or my friends then I'll always stand up for me and them, and if that means fighting a bunch of people (something I've thankfully never had to do thus far), then so be it.

unless he/they are bigger than me in which case i'd say the same thing but not try to manhandle someone bigger than me if violence started I'd rush them go for the eyes, nuts and try to overbalence them,
If I were on my own I'd back down I'm aggressive and confrontational, not stupid.

If I didn't manage to have my hidden blade on me, just get one of my throwing knives out; they work well enough as a proper knife, and I can throw them with decent accuracy.

Realistically, I'd tell him to piss off and be on my merry way. If doesn't move out of my way, then I'd probably push him over. I mean, he is drunk. If he just gets back up, then I'd kick him in the nads, and then trip him.

Depends who im with. If i think the people im with would not appreciate me getting into a fight then i would probably just say that i would like a quit night, then i might offer to but them a drink or something to cool things down.

I'm usually able to talk myself out of hostile situations or just ignore the people causing them, but if he continues after I start walking to my car with my friends that's when I stop playing nice. If he targets my friends I'd immediately tell him to back the hell off, as I'm fiercely defensive of my friends... Like a mother Lioness...

Try to diffuse the situation. But all things being equal my friends and I can handle ourselves very well in a fight. Oh, and we all have CHL's.
