I think they're being a little too aggresive as far as ads go.
Also, earlier today I was eating lunch and decided to get the Escapist and the latest round of ads puts up. The ones with the zombie nurse stripper over there ->
And there went my appetite.
I'm not being anti-ad. I get that the Escapist could use the money, but still.

Those ads finally convinced me to stop looking at them, through methods I won't say.

Yeah, I don't mind the presence of ads, but those tend to make me lose my lunch.

They dont really bother me. I mean, I guess I could see how they could bother someone, but I have no problem with them

Meh, I've seen more gruesome things in person. I actually did click on it to see what this game was about. I'm still not entirely sure.

I would like it if the escapist allowed for an age rating on ads, as I sometimes share the wonderful shows here with my parents... you can guess how that would go when a bloody zombie nurse or some guy with hands over his mouth and bug eyes appears on the screen.

I share the opinion that the escapist is free to advertise, and I'm normally not bothered. But I would like to be able to say "hey, I don't like blood and gore, could you please advertise something less inappropriate" at least to those who ask.

I know what you mean. Also I'm sick of watching it before every vid. Mostly because it plays in super-fucking-ultra-high-awesome-balls-definition and it lags out my internet like a ***** until it finishes playing. which totally doesn't help when I'm trying to watch Zero P in the back ground while I'm browsing other sites.

Oh yeah I know. On some of the vid ads, I started memorizing the words.
I really wouldn't mind it that much if it buffered the video I was trying to watch while it played.

I'm basically just sick of how much I see them. I'd say a good 80-85% of the ads on youtube videos are for that game, and I see them enough on Escapist to also feel overwhelmed by the still image/gif side of advertising. They're quite annoying and from what I've seen of the game, it just seems like a knock off of Amnesia with gimmicky Kinect motion controls. I don't own an Xbox, nor do I own a Kinect, but if I happened to own one or both, I wouldn't be running to the store to pick up this game. I will credit my complete disinterest partially with the ridiculous amount of crappy advertisements for the game I've been seeing for a month.

I haven't seen ads on this site in years. Pub club has it's advantages.

That said, I had to google what you guys were talking about. Not something I really want to see when I'm casually browsing the forums or watching LRR. >.<
