So, about Ultamite Marvel vs, Capcom 3...

I used Wolverine/Wesker/Akuma (aka GodMode.team) in vanilla. In ultimate Wolverine is pretty ass, so I swapped to Spencer/Wesker/Akuma. Seems to work well, but if I lose Akuma assist I have a lot of trouble getting in. Most of my mix-ups come from zip-line or teleport with Tatsu assist.

Also, if you aren't using Wesker... you really should be. He's easy to play, does easily the highest damage in the game, and he has an amazing command grab that you can combo off of. It's pretty silly honestly.

Not to mention he GAINS ATTACK POWER if he loses his shades...

What the HELL was capcom thinking? They don't nerf him at all, yet they remove Pheonix Wright's invincible assist when he's in turnabout mode! >: (

Vanilla: Team Demons

-Deadpool
Funny as hell, and he is actually pretty good as an in-your-face fighter. HEALTH BAR IN YOUR FACE!
-Dante
He can take out flying and teleporting characters quite easily, and he and Deadpool work with each other quite well.
-Akuma
Bring him out with lvl 3 x-factor. Hurricane kick, launcher, air combo, knockdown, OTG air beam. Half the health of most fighters gone like that.I also like using the Raging Demon for the killing blow.

Ultimate: Team Powerup

-Frank West
Builds up meter, I can do team hypers to level him up, and gets really strong late in the game.
-Vergil
Spends meter and shreds the opponent with tele-sword combos. Also, the Dark Angel is just BADASS.
-Nemesis
Set him with the launcher slam assist and save him and X-Factor till it hits the fan. He has enough health to survive if he get hit while assisting, and when he comes out with the x-factor, he's a freaking juggernaut.

As a side note, I honestly beleive that most of the people I fight are bots because its always Wesker on point and its always the same combo and its always freezing up for 6 seconds then sending me hate mail when they finaly lose.

I really think wesker shouls be banned for online play , or at least really nerfed , seriously , playing against that guy is REALLY not fair . Especially if someone practices with him .

Since i can proficently use Ammy, Firebrand, Nemesis, Sentinel, Iron Fist, Viewtiful Joe, Dormammu, Shuma-Gorath, Deadpool, Dante, Vergil, Doctor Doom, Hawkeye and Nova, i prefer to mixup my teams for better or for worse.

Though when i actually looked at my stats Ammy had the most useages. Also i dont go online much, i prefer to stick to offline sessions with friends.

And you can be damn sure im trying to add to my useage pool.

Also for those interested, Wesker currently leads the nerf request polls on the Capcom forums.

Ammy has always been my backup plan. I've used her since day one of vanilla and she's the character I'm most confident in using. I've destroyed entire teams with a level 3 X-factored Ammy, and because I actually use her properly, nobody expects me to use her counter moves. Works brilliantly against derpy Haggars using the pipe and spammy Metor Smash Skrulls.

I also find it quite surprising that no-one expects Ammy's counter, especially as its the best special counters in the game. Keep it out as long as you want and you can go into a ground chain almost instantly after dropping it.

Hell once i turned the tables on an experienced Wesker player thanks to that counter.

I use X-23, Spencer, and Wesker. Loved Wesker back when he wasn't unstoppable, but can sub him for Strider whenever.

My friend uses team Speed Demon

X-23, Jill, Strider

At level 3 X-Factor, Jill is literally untouchable. No joke. No one can hit her unless its full screen.

I always have problems fighting Jill.

I fought so few of them that I don't really know how to fight her, fortunately, X-23 seems as decent a counter to her as anything. Fighting speed with speed usually helps against Jill.

If you're using Vergil and Zero, a character with a good projectile assist would be most beneficial for you.

You can cover Vergil's teleports and while Zero is pretty safe with his mixups, throwing an assist into that mix can help you confuse your opponent. Dante's Weasel Shot is pretty decent in this regard.

DHC combos are great for that little extra damage to take out a character, but I wouldn't rely on them as your sole damage dealer.

Vergil is my main fighter, Ive all but mastered him, Zero i can activate his shadow clone like attack and string some pretty good combos with him, im also good with Ghost Rider as well, his chains give me some good range, and i dont relay on the Crossover attack all too much, i find which ones have good compatibility and master them, it makes things pretty simple.

I use Frank West, Deadpool and Supper Skrull. I really like my team but I think I might drop Frank because he has absolutely no way to get in on his opponents and he just falls apart against zoning.

My new team that I am working on is Deadpool, Spencer and Super Skrull. Deadpool is there to build meter and be annoying. Spencer is there to harass anybody who tries to zone as well as finishing off other characters while conserving meter and Super Skrull can just go nuts in x factor level 3.

Nothing personal, I just despise team trenchcoat. It's like the most overused team structure I've encountered and is used predominantly by teleport spammers.

Easily countered, but a pain in the arse, nonetheless.

Fair enough
I never have figured Weskers teleport
But my mates team is somthing to moan about
It includes: Amaterasu, Sentinel, Hulk
He sometimes replaces Ama with Nemesis.
