I read a ton of threads but a lot of time I just feel that my opinion has usually been said already so I won't post. There are also the rare occasions where I'll write out a whole post and then decide not to post it.

if the topic i something i have opinion on i will post but most times i don't.

on a side note i was going to not post on this tread just to prove that we are all lurkers, but then i thought that woudnt be very funny.

Yeah, that has happened to quite a bit of my threads.
I can't do anything about it though...

Anyways: Yes, I do lurk a lot.
It depends how I'm feeling most days. If I'm tired or feeling kind of crappy, I'm not going to post as much.
If I'm feeling the opposite of what I posted above, then I'll usually post.

I think my post count given how long I've actually been on the escapist speaks for itself.

because I cant be bothered to post. especially when theres a captcha. I mean I have gone to write a post so many times then thought "fuck it" when that maroon and white box pops up.

I don't lurk much. I usually comment as long as the thread isn't spam or just plain stupid.

*points at post count* I almost always post in a thread. As long as it's sane. Like this one. :3
Now that I think about it, I've never seen you before.
How the hell did THAT happen?

I'm a lurker because I was always too lazy to make an account. Now that I finally have I'm too lazy to post.
On other sites I usually just post if I actually have an opinion.

That maybe 'cause there's a lack of sane threads. And I confine myself to User Reviews and the Forum RP forums.

Sure. There's nothing wrong with lurking. I myself often lurk topics. People will look at a topic to see if it's interesting. If it doesn't interest them, or they have nothing important to add, why would they post something?

Sometimes i just feel like i do not have anything to say, something that could slightly sound offending (i never mean to offend anyone), and just not knowing what to say.

*takes a extra look at post count*

Perhaps i do have some things to say though...

I only post when I have something useful to say or if it's not pointless. So I post very rarely ^-^

Eh, I lurk unless I find something that I feel like I can make an interesting/contributing comment on. I suppose, in some sense, I lurk: because I'll visit quite a few topics, read them briefly through, and then go, "Eh, nothing I can contribute here," and move on without responding. I'm sure there are probably a few other people like me, too.
Hey, same here.

I only post if I think is necessary.

Meh, I sort of do it but only because normally I can't be arsed to respond or my response would be considered low content.

I doubt you will actually find out, since they are lurkers they aren't going to break the trend for one thread, unless you compared individual posters against number of views but even then it's hard to tell anything.
