Someone started a facebook group about all the fans making their profile pics into pokemon...

Now I doubt that this really "started" jack, but that's when I first noticed these poke'prof. pics en masse.

i was wondering whats brought about the great many pokemon profile pics lately, most of them charzard. now dont get me wrong giant fire dragons rocked when i was 7 and they still rock now but have i missed something? has there been an adult redo of pokemon or something (if this is the case, thank you god) thats made colourful sort of cute cartoons awsome again?

chances are that its just coincidence but i feel as if ive just walked into school to see every1 wearing pokemon t-shirts and wearing pika hats, whats going on guys!
I belive that one of the escapist's current film festival entries is an aldult version of pokemon, lets all go vote for them.

Not sure why so many people have it as their avatars, but it is surprisingly popular with adults.
Also, use correct grammar in your sentences. Otherwise you'll get grammar Nazis insulting your syntax instead of responding to your argument.

Well if you're speaking about the Escapist,no idea. But Facebook wise, somebody decided that December was pokemon profile pic month, and it sorta stuck.

P.S. For those of you who care, i went out of then norm and chose Slugma, cause nothing is more manly than a slug made out of lava with balls on it's chin.

I've always used a pokemon avatar on this site. I happen to think its awesome. I dont still play the games though, they have gotten same-y and the look of the new pokemon keep getting worse. (They have run out of animals maybe)

I think pokemon just need more fire pokemon. This past generation didn't let you catch any cool fire pokemon until you beat the elite 4. Rapidash is awesome, but Infernape < Blaziken. I had started with chimchar, but when I got Ponyta, I locked up my Monferno in a box and he never saw the light of day again. Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape can't even learn flamethrower. How can you call yourself a fire pokemon without being able to use such a basic fire attack?

I will wait for a fire/bug pokemon: The Fire Ant. I have no idea what its name will be, but it will be one of the few pokemon with a real-world analog.

I love Pokemon and so do a lot of people. I really don't see why it should be classified as a kids only game.

Hey kids.

I have a new computer and I only transferred a few images off my old hard-drive. I just picked pretty much the first image I could find to put a face to the name and now I don't see much point in changing it.
At least its a pretty awesome Pokémon GIF.
And what the hey: yes, I do still play Pokémon. Hell, I bought Pokémon 2000 a few weeks ago on DVD. I've now officially watched that film more any other. The villain in inspiring, with his giant flying castle and cold British accent.

Edit: Hey, my username sort of fits my avatar! Electric type and that. Ha. Ha. That's not funny is it?

I've been reading it online, it's not fantastic but it's...satisfying.

Hmm I might look into it. I'm guessing it's a bit childish, though.
