I read that CISPA was pushed ahead to an early vote and it passed. I have no idea if this is as bad as SOPA or PIPA, but is it going to do all the evil things that SOPA was supposed to have done, and I'm not the smartest guy, so could someone please fill me in on what the fuck is going to happen when this is enforced?

It just passed the House. Calm down. Also Obama has threatened to veto it, for what that's worth.

if this passes it will allow companies to share your private information with the government without warrants. So everything you do on the web will be watched tracked and shared between companies and government

It is not going to do anything that SOPA would've done. There are no similarities between the two bills.

SOPA was worth all the rage as it threatened the very fabric of the internet. CISPA is just meh, nothing to be concerned over at all. Its primary purpose is to set forth procedures for the government to share info with private cybersecurity firms, and vice versa. Info pertinent to their jobs of defending our networks from hackers. Information sharing that, truth be told, is already going on. (what, you think Sony, for example, wasn't working with the Feds to track down the people who attacked PSN?) This just codifies how it's to be handled.
