Ignore them. Almost every game I will get a message saying "don't try too hard" or something along the lines of that. I thought the term "try-hard" referred to the kids who camp with claymores, but I guess not. If you feel like responding... one word: umad?

speaking from a person who knows one and has to deal with these type of people, it's really just an excuse for failure like 'damn' except it makes them feel more at home with their death and more angry about it.

don't dwell on it, it happens on all multiplayer games just make fun of them and fan the flames of anger

is what it should have read, but it didn't, and you spent half of that massive OP talking about yoga and your physical fitness wtf? Stick to relevant gaming points please, the yoga stuff just make you sound like a douche.
If you'd actually read that, you'd see that I was incredibly self-defacing about it rather than bragging (because I have literally nothing to brag about in that department) and the whole point was to establish why I play mindless shooters at times. That I'm about as far from 'hardcore' as one can get. And on the matter of reading, if you find a post too long, don't read it. The irony is that your post makes you sound every bit as douchey to me as you seem to think I am. Frankly, if you don't like to read, perhaps you should pick up a new past-time that isn't a text-based forum. /eyeroll @ TL;DR crowd

And to those asking why I wrote the play-by-play? Simple. To establish that, counter to what the first reply thought, I'm not actually any good at the game. The first two? I killed them at their spawn before they could get their bearings straight, easy kills. The next two? I ambushed them in a ridiculously easy ambush spot. The rest? Thermal LMG on a long hallway? Not difficult. Sniping from the second floor of the building at A? Also not difficult with a Thermal LMG. And hell, a full third of my kills were from aircraft, which requires literally zero skill. The point is that I played an incredibly noobish game, rather than that I have actual skill. My K:D ratio is a completely unimpressive 1.3:1.

If players had at the very least watched the kill cams, they would have seen how ridiculously lame I was being and countering me would have been a breeze. But instead they opted to jump straight to the hacking accusations rather than actually playing the game.

So... they use it as a means to get more angry at a situation, rather than taking steps to fix the situation? Kinda odd, I guess.
